  • because i a c_o_ two levels in the oceans were noticing the crowds are

  • actually getting larger while all the stars and scallops are getting smaller

  • some researchers want to figure out why that was the case and what do you

  • realized in several studies have been conducted

  • crabs actually absorb c_o_ two and it makes their shells and larger however it

  • is a negative thing four uh... away susan scouts because it makes their

  • shells fenner and a m actually makes them role a lot slower so they become

  • pray

  • and uh... it's very mean it's much more difficult for them to survive

  • a lot of people might think well isn't this great news because that means we

  • get beer crap but that's not necessarily the case in a while their shelves get

  • larger

  • uh... their meet actually doesn't get larger and also you might see these big

  • crappy cracking open you realize there's very little me to i mean this is just

  • one of these things and it's so obvious this is because of pollution with its

  • just obvious

  • and ironically the republicans who are against all of pollution controls

  • wouldn't want the scientific study

  • to disprove that that's exactly what it is so they don't believe in the sides of

  • the first place yeah but then i want to study to disprove decides that they

  • don't

  • believe in so it's it's very bizarre this reminds me of here we see that

  • episode of the simpsons it's one of the early ones when uh... mister burns is

  • running for mayor

  • and they find the three eyed fish because of the nuclear waste there than

  • they have to put my great spin on it mean that yeah happen all of our clients

  • are going to have decided that it's going to be gone

  • doesn't have anything to do it the pollution

  • is a splendid and buyer

  • time we actually want to do something about it it's gonna be too late you know

  • that and that's the thing that i'm really concerned about getting the

  • damage that we've done at this point is irreversible

  • and as a result you know i our kids are gonna feel are the consequences of it

  • it's going to be a nightmare so the one thing i'm worried about the most is

  • actually you know the level of mercury in our oceans acidification of our

  • oceans

  • it's destroying um... you know that uh...

  • uh... coral for instance and it's it's destroying add you know the livelihood

  • of the fish and uh... i don't see a live and

  • it's destroying our sushi i don't say i'm coming in from a little bit of a

  • selfish perspective because i love sushi i love seafood

  • there is no longer you know as safe as it used to be to consume these products

  • because we're destroying the environment that they live in a i mean that's

  • totally legit i think the sushi thing actually make this a little more humid

  • than just being with all their animals are diameter doesn't seem to be

  • you really argue that this was a person she more than once a week because

  • the mercury levels in tuna are so bunkers

  • i mean i mean a lot of time itunes that it's news that you too much to me

  • it you know i'd and i'm just i just think he's too negative take me down

  • really

  • you know the actor made about the

  • yes on catie

  • it's it's not just what we're doing to the ocean it's what we're doing to allot

  • of the food that we consume any every once in awhile back live inside his will

  • put out an article that week the press release where

  • they say other you know up front pretty soon coffees going to be extinct recent

  • bacon is gonna be at stake and of course that's their way of making a personal

  • and that's our way of trying to appeal to you know the average joe that might

  • think the climate science is too complex so they don't really delve into it

  • but at the end of the day it goes above and beyond just what corporations are

  • doing

  • it also has to do with human behavior and it has to do with us

  • being comfortable with consuming less and doing little things here in there to

  • make sure that we uh... you know

  • preserve our environment yes universally layers of this because we do things like

  • that we overfished right and then

  • uh... instead of having wild salmon which is known for a zillion health

  • uh... things omega-three using fatty acids in alaska instead we now deformed

  • sandwich had none

  • of those attributes and none of those health benefits

  • so even simple things like that and then of course they're cheaper to get to them

  • that we eat it and you know and and the reason that the salmon them that is a

  • wild salmon leaves it's like swimming upstream and you can watch on youtube

  • any video about this it's a fascinating thing watching us and his whole life

  • this against the tide and because of the hates me

  • becomes healthier becomes meteor and has more nutrients because it's living only

  • instead you put them in a little farm religious women circles all day

  • and that it's not a good way for them and then we needed it is not a good way

  • for us that we wouldn't be a leader all connected now hein aline aline and of

  • course overfishing is another huge problem so

  • we'll have to destroy the environment

  • then nothing's gonna change u_s_ asia possessor worth that sounds pretty damn

  • good disgusted yeah

because i a c_o_ two levels in the oceans were noticing the crowds are
