No. I don't like bad music. This song's okay. Yes, I do. I very much enjoy it. Words cannot express how much I love this song. Yes! (Finebros) Why do you like the song so much? I have no idea, but it's just woo! - (Finebros) Do you know who sings it? - I wish I did. No, I don't. No, I don't know her name. Morgan Lee Fla... Meghan... something. Meghan Trainor. Meghan Trainor. (Finebros) This song, right now, - is the number-one song on the charts. - Wow. We've come to this point. We have to listen to this stupid stuff. I'm so proud of her! Woo! (Finebros) Why do you think this song is so popular? I don't know. I don't see how this would appeal to anybody. Other people might like it, but I would not understand. This song is so catchy. It has such an amazing message that I feel like everybody can relate to. It's one of those songs that talks about fat butts. And for some reason, everybody likes to hear about that. (Finebros) What is this song about? No idea. Bass? All about that bass, 'bout that bass? I don't know. Loving yourself no matter what and not caring what anybody tells you. Respecting your body and loving it and not really listening to all the people saying, "Oh no, you're fat." (Finebros) What does she mean by "all about that bass"? Does she like to play baseball? I think maybe it's about drums. "Bass" probably means bigger, and "treble" is probably smaller. Oh, please don't make me say that. Their butt? (snickers) That's what I thought. (Finebros) So we have some lyrics of the song. Oh no. (Finebros) So read this out loud. "Yeah, it's pretty clear." "I ain't no size two." "But I can shake it, shake it like I'm supposed to do." (facetiously) I think this is an inappropriate song. She's proud of not being a size two? Maybe, like, shaking her butt. She thinks she has a big one? It's too big to do nothing? I don't think she was making like, "Oh yeah, that's all girls are good for, shaking their butts." She's saying, "Yeah, I'm not super skinny, but who cares?" (Finebros) So here's a different part of the song. (mutters) "I know you think you're fat." "But I'm here to tell ya..." "Every inch of you is perfect..." "...from the bottom to the top." The vaguer message is "from the bottom to the top." I think that one's a little bit better than the other one. It doesn't matter if you think I'm fat or I look awful. I get to dance. It's my life. See? This is positive-- positive stuff. We need more of this. (Finebros) Do you think that people prefer or expect people - to look certain ways? - I think some people think that. Yes. People who are sometimes overweight, they get made fun of. The expectation is just to be skinny and to be beautiful. But you don't really have to be that. Everyone's beautiful in their own way. More people like her should be saying, "Just love yourself for who you are." But people don't really think like that. Most people think, like, that everybody who's blond is beautiful. But I'm blond and look at this, so that's obviously not true. - (Finebros) You're handsome. - That's just a lie. - (Finebros laugh) - But okay. - (Rafi laughs) Dash. - (Benny) Dash, you look fine. (Finebros) Why is skinny considered better in our society? Hmm. I never thought about that. If that's what boys think... (retches) Fat is overweight, and people think there's always something wrong with that. Most of the idols of young girls, they're all skinny and have long hair. All the magazines and all the stuff that are influencing us-- everybody's so skinny and Photoshopped, and that's not reality. (Finebros) So this song we played for you was the radio version of the song. But there's another version of this song, like on Radio Disney, - that changes some of the lyrics even. - That's just rude. Well, for sure, "Let It Go" is appropriate. (Finebros) Did you know that some of the songs you listen to, - they change the lyrics for kids? - No, I never knew that. I didn't know that at all, and I don't like it. Yeah. Oh my god, yes, because I've heard the Disney version. And then one day we were listening to the radio. I'm like, "Oh, Dad. Dad, leave it. I like this song." And then I hear the words, and then I'm like... "Uh, I hope he didn't hear that." (Finebros) What do you think about the fact they do that? (dramatically) I protest that you guys let us hear the real songs! It's good to listen to that version only. But obviously, if you look it up on YouTube or something, it's not gonna be that version. Honestly, if you're gonna change the song, just don't play it at all. If it's not a clean song, then don't even play it. They might not know that it's a bad song. So then they see it. "Oh wow, this is actually a really bad song. I shouldn't listen to this again." There's that kid. But then there's another kid-- "Oh my god, that's actually a really cool song. I want to do the things that they're saying in the song." That's not good. (Finebros) Back to the song, this is her first big hit. Do you think she will be a popular singer for a long time, - or is she a one-hit wonder? - I don't know. I'm gonna go "one-hit wonder." For now, she's just a one-hit wonder. I think she's gonna be popular for a while. I think she's going to have a long career. She's telling the world and she's trying to change it to make not people laugh about everything. (Finebros) So finally, what would you want to say to Meghan, though, about her song and her message if she was watching? Stop shaking your booty. The message is good. But some of the lyrics and the song just go too far. You're perfect. I love you. (holding back laugh) Hi, Meghan. I really like your song, and I think it has a great message.
