Today, you are going to let go of all of your tension and stress and just relax with me. Look at my mouth as you focus on the words that come out of it. I want you to picture yourself standing in a wheat field. The golden blades of wheat dance and weave in harmony with the gentle breeze that cools your face as it tenderly washes over you. With every breath that you take in, the fresh air fills your lungs and restores your energy. As you look out on the horizon, at the beautiful orange, yellow, and purple sunset, you feel yourself getting more relaxed. With each breath, you feel more tension leave your body. That’s it. Breathe in through your nose. And out through your mouth. Continue doing this at a comfortable pace and focus only on my words. I want you now to visualize yourself slowly and safely flying above the wheat field. As you fly, you look to the right and notice a small grove of trees. You fly over to the grove and notice that tucked away behind the trees is a small pond. You sit beside the pond, facing the now even more beautiful sunset, and you feel almost as though the pond itself it pulling all of the negative energy from your body and from your mind. Remember, with every breath you take, you are getting more and more relaxed. As you are seated by the pond, I want you to close your eyes and as you breathe, just notice how relaxed your shoulders are getting. Take note of how all of your muscles are relaxed now. I want you now to replay this little thought experiment we did, while you listen to some white noise I have made for you. Any remaining stress will be gone. Listen...
