  • Hey, I'm Keri Glassman, here with some quick and simple tips to help you feel just a little

  • bit better. Do not resist the urge to nap. Research shows that a nap of just 26 minutes

  • can increase your performance by as much as 34 percent. Not only that, even a short nap

  • reduces stress, improves memory, reduces the risk of heart disease, and can even aid in

  • weight loss. I love that! Yes, you can lose weight by sleeping. Extra sleep may affect

  • weight even more than we realize. Cornell researchers found that a child’s risk of

  • obesity decreases by 9 percent with each additional hour of sleep. We're still waiting, of course,

  • for the much anticipated follow-up study to tell us, hopefully, how they got those children

  • to sleep. So remember: A 26 minute nap equals 34 percent increased performance. Find the

  • time for that quick snooze, and youll feel just a little bit better.
