  • I've had licorice before but I don't like it,

  • so now I'm scared about this.

  • My godmother, she's from Finland, and she's obsessed with it

  • and when I was five she made me try it.

  • It was disgusting.

  • - (Finebros) And now you get to taste it.

  • Grab one. - All right.

  • I'm scared.

  • - I'm nervous about this so very much.

  • (revolted) Ah!

  • Salty.

  • - Oh god.

  • It tastes spicy!

  • - It tastes like I licked a table cloth.

  • Yes, I've licked a table cloth before. I was really little.

  • - It reminds me of one of the jelly beans

  • in the Bean Boozled.

  • - You get this sensation in your mouth--

  • a thousand bees in your mouth, stinging your mouth.

  • - Imagine an insanely salty piece of licorice.

  • - I can't believe it.

  • I know something's part of black licorice in this.

  • It tastes like it.

  • - It smells like chocolate!

  • It is so disgusting; this is like a prank!

  • Where what you do is, "Hey, do you want some chocolate?"

  • It like, "Sure."

  • Eat it, bolt, and it's like you pass out

  • because it's so terrible!

  • - I don't know where this is from,

  • but why did you give this to me?

  • - (Finebros) You just tried salmiakki. - It's awful.

  • Why did you make me try it?

  • - Salmiakki sounds like it would taste terrible.

  • If I had known the name I might not have eaten this.

  • - It's called salmiakki, right, and then I say "salt"--

  • salt-miakki.

  • - I don't even know what that is,

  • (laughing) so tell me what it is.

  • - (Finebros) Salmiakki is a salty licorice candy

  • that's popular in Finland.

  • - Boom!

  • - How is this a licorice candy?

  • It stings your mouth.

  • - I don't like licorice either way.

  • It's even worse than any type of licorice there is.

  • - How does anyone like this?

  • - (aghast) People like this? They like this?

  • - (Finebros) Do you recommend that people try salmiakki?

  • - No.

  • - I do not recommend people try salmiakki.

  • - No, not at all.

  • - No! I don't think so.

  • It feels like it's something expired.

  • - Probably yeah.

  • It's their choice if they want to.

  • - (singsong) No, no, no. Noooooo!

  • - Never!

  • It's black licorice times a thousand, mixed with salt.

  • Would you want to try that?

  • - Mm-mm. I really don't.

  • Good for pranking friends,

  • even though I would not prank a friend.

  • (innocently) Can I give one to my sister?
