Welcome to the great state of Alaska. You're going to love it here.
Being a flight attendant for Alaska and living in Anchorage
is
pretty intense but Alaska itself is amazing.
Being based in Anchorage means that you get to fly around
the state and I'm
never at a loss when I look out the window and I just see Mt. McKinley, Denali.
You see just these amazing things.
And it's awesome. "Hello gentlemen, how's it going?" "Welcome aboard sir."
And if you're like me, you love serving people.
And enjoy making your trip more than just point A to point B.
The greatest thing about working at Alaska Airlines, I would have to say,
is you are basically getting paid to have an amazing time.
I mean, I don't know who would turn that down but it is
probably the greatest thing about the job.
Being a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines is more than just "hellos" and "goodbyes",
it's a personal connection you make with the passengers each and every day.
I've been with the company for a little over a year
and I've noticed that it never gets old.
Alaska is one of the airlines that is still small enough
that it can keep its values and it's an amazing airline.
It has amazing people working for the airline.
It's more just like a group getting together and having an awesome time.
"Thank you." "My pleasure!"
Being based in Anchorage is awesome. It's a
smaller base, which means everyone gets to know everyone.
I see the same people in the crew room, that I see in the plane, that I see at
Moose's Tooth Pizzeria
down the street. You see them everywhere that you go and are awesome people and it's like a family.
If you are thinking about applying
for Alaska, don't hesitate
I didn't grow up thinking that this is what I wanted to do
but the opportunity showed itself and I took a chance
and I cannot see myself doing anything other than this.
That is why I love working for Alaska Airlines.
My name is Drew I'm an Anchorage-based flight attendant and I am proud to be a new
Employee for Alaska Airlines.
