I saw a bunch of Youtubers try out this idea,

such as Shane Dawson and my friend Cynbunny

what they did was they turned their phone into this super cool 3D hologram

and I really wanted to try it out and show you guys

I’ve never done anything sort of techy on my channel, so I’m not sure how it’s going to turn out

but it’s about 9pm on a Monday and I have nothing better to do, so let’s try!

What you will need is a CD case

I don’t really know who has CDs anymore, because I certainly didn’t

so I made a little trip to HMV to get this

I picked up the 2016 Grammy Awards winning CD

which I actually want to listen to because it’s got my girl Taylor Swift here, it’s got Ed Sheeran

actually many many singers that I like

but I don’t really have a CD player…

You just need the plastic case, so you can take everything out

and you also need some graph paper

and a ruler and a marker

so now on this you want to measure 1cm

it’s going to be about 2 of those little square things

by 3.5cm here

and then 6cm at the bottom

I got an idea!

All the videos I watched were smaller ones (1cm x 3.5cm x 6cm)

we’re going to try to double those measurements to make it even bigger!

If you want to make it easy and small you can do it that size

but you know, I like a little challenge!

we’re going to make a big one!!

so next you want to cut out your shape

we’re going to draw it onto a CD case

and you’re going to carefully cut out your shape

this is not easy

this is way too hard

I think this plastic is too high quality and thick

I don’t know where I can get those cheap..

maybe the convenience store!

ah, you can get pieces in your eyes!

I just cut that so straight

oh that was such a good line!

This one is going to be good, I can feel it

I’m getting better and better each time!

you know, that’s what is it! Practice makes perfect!

because this is impossible!

It’s now 11:00pm, that took forever!

So now we got our 4 pieces and we’re going to stick them together with some tape

why does mine not work?

Oh my God, the shape isn’t working

uhhh why did I try and do my own measurements?

I think I have to do it again and do the smaller one

uhhh I have to cut everything again

I’m not giving up!!

I’m going to do it in the small original measurements that everyone else did!

Alright, I figured out what wen’t wrong. So basically..

This is what need to be well 7cm before

I’m just going to do a small one now. I’m just going to stick to the original plan and not try anything fancy

because I’m getting tired

It’s in the centre that’s supposed to be 3.5cm

a lot of the other videos wrote it here

but it’s not this part that’s 3.5cm, it’s actually the centre

this is around 4cm, or something like that

so it’s 1cm, 3.5cm around here, and 6cm

I think these are the right measurements, we’ll see in the end

and then if you want to try it you’ll know the right ones

I think after watching my video, most of you won’t want to try it

Let’s try and put them together

It’s gonna work!

and you’re going to find so many to choose from

and it’s not so difficult to make if you actually follow the directions properly

I figured out the measurements thing at the end, so if you follow that and you cut it strongly many times it’s a lot easier

than what I made it look like it is
