Uber launched in Singapore,
The first city in Asia, simply as an idea.
Three years and millions of trips later,
we've heard thousands of amazing stories
about drivers building their businesses, and riders connecting with their cities, in new ways.
Why I join Uber, well, it's the flexibility of the hours,
like I can get on the road anytime I want, how long I want, and yeah, basically whenever I want.
I mean, where else can you find a part-time job that allows you to.. uh you know, fix your own time?
Uber is making a real impact right here in Singapore.
It's become part of the transportation fabric of the city
Today, riders can get a car within three minutes
One in four trips start or end at an MRT station.
So whether it's the morning commute, or the last mile of your day,
it's the technology that keeps you moving.
Drivers are the lifeblood of Uber, we're adding thousands of economic opportunities to the platform every week.
I drive Uber because the opportunity of meeting people from diverse backgrounds
and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to society.
