那上一集我們教到了基本化妝品的單字

Today, I’m sharing some vocabulary that you’ll see in Pokémon Go!

今天這一集則是要教大家 Pokémon Go 這個遊戲裡面會遇到的英文單字喔！

So as most of you already know, Pokémon Go is all the rage right now

相信大家都已經知道，Pokémon Go 現在超火紅

it is a cultural phenomenon

已經成為了轟動全世界的奇妙現象

So, basically, it is an iOS and Android

基本上它就是一個 iOS 跟安卓系統的手機遊戲

game APP that allows you to explore real world locations

讓你可以在手機上探索現實生活的世界

and catch your very own Pokémon on your smartphone

並且捕獲屬於你的神奇寶貝

Pokémon Go has not been released in Taiwan yet

Pokémon Go 在台灣還沒有開通

YET

還沒而已！

but I have a feeling that it’ll happen pretty soon

但是我覺得，他應該「灰常」快就會開通了

So today, I’m gonna teach you guys

因此今天，我要教大家如果你要玩的話

the most important English vocabulary

在遊戲裡面

that you’ll need to know if you wanna play the game

你最應該知道的英文單字！

First and foremost, 神奇寶貝

首先第一，神奇寶貝。

神奇寶貝 in English is Pokémon

神奇寶貝的英文是，Pokémon

Pokémon is actually a combination of two words, pocket and monster

神奇寶貝這個名字其實是兩個字的結合，口袋跟怪獸

Next up, 進化

再來，進化

進化 in English is evolve

進化的英文是，evolve

When your Pokémon has enough experience

當你的神奇寶貝有足夠的經驗值

they evolve, and they become stronger and better, and sometimes

他們就會進化然後變的更強更好，有時也變得

...uglier…

.....更醜

Then we have, 寶貝球

接下來，寶貝球

寶貝球 in English is Poké Balls

寶貝球的英文是，Poké Balls

In the game, there are four different types of Poké Balls

在遊戲裡面，有四種類型的寶貝球

there’s the standard Poké Ball, and then there’s the Great Ball

有標準的寶貝球，然後有大型球

the Ultra Ball and the Master Ball

超級球、跟大師球

Tip: Using higher leveled Poké Balls

攻略：用高等級的寶貝球可以讓你

will make it easier for you to catch wild Pokémon

更容易抓到野生神奇寶貝

Next up, 藍隊/紅隊/黃隊

再來，藍隊/紅隊/黃隊

藍/紅/黃隊 in English is Team Mystic, Team Valor, Team Instinct

藍隊/紅隊/黃隊的英文是，Team Mystic, Team Valor, Team Instinct

When you play Pokémon Go

在遊戲裡面

you can pick a team when you reach a certain level

當你達到某個等級時，就可以選一個隊加入

Each team has their own color

每一個隊都有自己的顏色

and they represent three legendary Pokémons:

而這些顏色也代表著傳說中的三聖鳥：

Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos

急凍鳥、火焰鳥跟閃電鳥

Then we have, 迷幻香

接下來，迷幻香

迷幻香 in English is incense

迷幻香的英文是，incense

This incense will set off an aromatic scent

這個香會散發出一種香氣

which will in turn attract wild Pokémon to your location

吸引野生神奇寶貝到你的所在位置

Next we have, 引誘器

再來，引誘器

引誘器 in English is lure module

引誘器的英文是，lure module

A lure module is very similar to an incense

引誘器跟迷幻香非常類似

but you can only use it by placing it on a Pokéstop

但是你只能把它放置使用在補給站上方

Next up, 藥水

接下來，藥水

藥水 in English is potion

藥水的英文是，potion

If your Pokémon is low on HP

如果你的神奇寶貝體力值不夠

you can use potion to restore its strength

你可以用藥水幫牠恢復體力值

Then we have, 復活

再來，復活

復活 in English is revive

復活的英文是，revive

When you Pokémon loses a battle and faints

當你的神奇寶貝輸掉一場戰鬥昏倒的話

you’ll have to use revive to bring it back

你就要用復活把牠救醒

Then we have, 孵蛋器

接下來，孵蛋器

孵蛋器 in English is egg incubator

孵蛋器的英文是，egg incubator

In order to hatch your egg into a Pokémon

要把蛋孵成神奇寶貝的話

you’ll have to put them in this egg incubator as you walk around

你就必須把蛋放到孵蛋器裡，然後到處走來走去累積里程數

Next, 野莓

再來，野莓

野莓 in English is razzberry

野莓的英文是，razzberry

Razzberry is derived from the real raspberry

這個野莓是從覆盆莓這個字衍變而來的

In the game, you can feed this

在遊戲裡面，你只要把野莓給野生神奇寶貝吃的話

to a wild Pokémon to make it easier to catch

就會讓他更容易被捕捉

Then we have, 糖果

接下來，糖果

糖果 in English is candy

糖果的英文是，candy

There are various ways to acquire candy in the game

在遊戲裡有不同種方式可以得到糖果

This item is used to evolve and strengthen your Pokémon

這個物品是用來進化跟強化你的神奇寶貝

Next up, 星塵

再來，星塵

星塵 in English is stardust

星塵的英文是，stardust

There are also various ways to acquire stardust in the game

在遊戲裡也有不同種方式可以得到星塵

This item is used to power up your Pokémon

這個物品是用來提升你神奇寶貝的能力

Then we have, 補給站

接下來，補給站

補給站 in English is Pokéstop

補給站的英文是，Pokéstop

Pokéstops are places where you can gather

補給站是可以讓你免費收集

Poké Balls, potions, eggs and other items for free

寶貝球、藥水、蛋跟其他物品的地方

Last we have, 道館

最後，道館

道館 in English is gym

道館的英文是，gym

This is a location in the game where you can battle against rival teams

這是一個你可以跟敵隊對戰

or train your own Pokémon

或是訓練自己神奇寶貝的地方

So there you go, the most important English vocabulary
