Hi, and thank you for visiting www.kraftmusic.com. My name is Adam Berzowski. I'm a team member
here at Kraft Music and I'm here today with the Yamaha Arius YDP-181 digital piano. For
the best deals on the YDP-181, you'll want to take a look at Kraft Music's bundle offers.
Our bundles will typically include accessories you may be interested in such as headphones
or a brass lamp. There are fourteen different sounds in the YDP-181 and I'd like to give
you an example of some of those sounds right now.

The Arius YDP-181 has many different features and like to tell you about some of them. One,
is that in addition to this music rack, you're also going to find a sliding key cover to
keep your keys protected from dust and debris when you're not using the instrument. You're
also going to find triple pedals -- all three of them -- just like you'd find on a grand
piano down at the bottom: soft pedal, the sostenuto, as well as the sustain pedal.
This piano is also equipped with a built-in metronome to help with your timekeeping during
practice. There's also a song recorder so that you can record the song that you've been
working on and listen back for review. Another feature is that you can layer two sounds -- you
can hear two at the same time. A common layer would be piano and strings. I'd like to give
an example of that right now. It's really easy to do. You simply touch the button of
the two sounds that you want to hear. In this case, I'll touch grand piano and then I'll
touch strings. Let's take a listen.

Did you know that you can connect headphones to your digital piano? You sure can. There
are headphone jacks on the YDP-181 to connect your headphones. There's also a switch to
turn the speakers on or off, so you want to turn the speakers off and then you can practice
early mornings for late at night. Nobody will hear you playing, except for yourself.
There are also midi ports on this piano. Midi ports will allow you to connect to your computer
to use educational software, recording software, or notation software. There are also a number
of selections preloaded into your digital piano just for your own listening enjoyment.
These are all demo songs. It's the touch of a button and your piano will play for you.
The last thing I'd like to tell you about the Yamaha YDP-181 is the fact that there
is a USB-to-device port on the front of the piano. This is to use one of these flash drives
to store your recorded songs.
I'd like to play a few more examples of the sounds in the Arius YDP-181 for you. Let's
take a listen.
