and they just kinda crushed me.

- Does this song even have anything to do with space?

- It's just the same words over and over and over and over.

- They're really talented;

they just made the wrong decisions in life.

- Why do you even do it if it has nothing to do with space?

(panting)

- (Finebros) Okay.

- (children) Question time!

- (Finebros) So do you know what band that is?

- No.

- That was One Direction.

- One Direction!

- One Direction, Benny.

- I love them so much. They give me life.

- I don't know why, but a lot of people don't like them.

- One Direction is one of the worst bands I've ever heard.

- (Finebros) So this band is One Direction.

- What?

I... that band's for girls.

(baffled) I-- I liked that song?

- (Finebros) And this was a music video for their brand new single.

Did you enjoy it? - I hated it.

- No, not at all.

- It sucks.

- It's amazing.

- Yes, but it was very cheesy.

- It was amazing.

Like, I wouldn't care what they're doing.

They could kill someone and basically, like, I would be like,

"Yes, you do it! Just go, Harry."

- (Finebros) Why can, in your mind, can they do no wrong?

- 'Cause they are perfect.

- (Finebros) Would you say that One Direction is still very popular

or are they not as popular as they used to be?

- Not as much.

- I don't think they're as popular now.

- They lost Zayn and they went... (imitates plane crash)

- Three years ago, it was the new, hot thing,

but now they just think of other bands.

- Even after five years, they're still huge.

I went to their concert a few months ago--

still packed with adoring fans.

- (Finebros) So in 2012, we did a Kids React with you

to a different One Direction song. - Yup.

(Finebros chuckles) - That one sucked too.

- You said that you didn't think any of them were cute

and you said that you would not marry them.

- (giggles) I would not-- I still would not marry them.

I told you, I'm not marrying to anyone in the universe.

- (Finebros) So One Direction has a lot of fans.

- The Directioners.

- (Finebros) The Directioners have gotten upset recently

because of some news that has come out about the band.

Do you know what the news was? - No idea.

- No.

- They were racist?

Um... (Finebros laughs)

- I'm guessing.

- They're breaking up?

- They're about to break up or go on hiatus next year.

- They say that they're gonna definitely come back together,

which I really hope happens, but I feel like that won't happen.

- (Finebros) Well, it has been said that once the new album

comes out, the band is breaking up for a while

to do their solo projects. - Yes! Yes!

- (Finebros) But... but the band said on Twitter

that they're gonna come back together eventually,

but they're just taking a break. - Noooo!

- (Finebros) What do you think about hearing

they might go on a break? - I'm glad.

- Don't care!

- They were doing so well together.

Why would they split up for a little bit?

- I wish they were still together because they're all apart

and making different music, so there's gonna be more songs

on the radio like that.

- This is One Direction-- one direction.

I understand you want to go five, ten, twenty different directions,

but Jesus!

- (Finebros) So there's a history of this with boy bands.

There was a very popular group called 'N Sync.

Have you ever heard of them? - No...

- No.

- I have never heard of them.

- My mom loves them. (Finebros chuckles)

- (sighs) She's so annoying with them.

She's like, "Oh my gosh! They were my life back then."

I'm like, "Yeah."

- (Finebros) Why are you giving your mom a hard time

for loving the boy band just like you do?

- That's what my job is. (laughs)

- (Finebros) Well, in April of 2002,

they were as popular as One Direction,

and they made the same announcement--

that they're going on a break, but one day they'll come back

together again.

But they never did. - ♪ (hums Twilight Zone) ♪

- If this happens with One Direction, all the Directioners

are gonna be like, "(angrily) You gotta come back together!!!"

- Oh my gosh. If they don't come back, my life will be over.

- They had so many sold out concerts,

and now they're just breaking up for a little bit?

And just like 'N Sync, they might never go back together.

So to me it's pretty dumb of a move.

- (Finebros) Some of the Directioners are starting to get really upset.

Some people are saying they're gonna hurt themselves

if the band breaks up.

What do you think about people that are that obsessed with a group?

- Well, I think they should just calm down.

- They're addicts.

- It's a band, for crying out loud!

- Take it down. Put Five Seconds of Summer.

Bam, nothing changed.

- If you hear them say they're going to hurt themselves

if you don't get back toget-- you'd better get back together!

- They're sort of over-acting a bit.

Like, when Zayn left there was a whole hashtag on #CutsForZayn.

That was really stupid.

Just don't harm yourself.

- That makes me very upset whenever people say

they're gonna cut themselves or kill themselves

because it's an actual serious issue that they're just making fun of.

- (Finebros) Last question: what is your prediction?

Do you think that the band is actually breaking up

or do you think no, they will get back together one day?

- I hope they're just gone forever.

- They're breaking up.

- I think they're breaking up.

- They're probably not gonna come back together.

- It's oveeer!

- I think they'll be back.

- No, they won't break up. I don't think so.

- They love their fans.

I think they would want to stay together.

- I want them to break up.

I really want there to be an internet war!

- Hopefully not, but if they are... it all started with Zayn!

(Finebros chuckles) - Zayn!!!

- As much as I would love to believe them,

I'm pretty sure that they're gonna break up

and that it's gonna be the end of One Direction.

- I feel like they're gonna break up, but I don't wanna--

No, I just said it! I'm gonna cry!

I'm gonna say no.

I-- (giggles). Okay, no because I believe in them.
