Welcome to Ehime guys!

It's my first time here

It's my first time off of the main island of Honshu

which is pretty freakin exciting

I've never been to Hokkaido

I've never been to Shikoku, which is where we are now

And I've never been to Kyushu

So it's pretty sweet to be off the main island

and to be seeing something different in Japan

after living here for 10 years and only traveling around Honshu

I hope you guys enjoy the trip!

So this is Dogo Onsen

Sherry told me that it's the only onsen in Japan that allows tattoos!

So Ehime is famous for oranges

There are orange souvenirs everywhere and I can't wait to buy them for my friends

What is the cat? Aww they're cookies

Even the cats are orange!

Lots of their drinks you can change the milk to soy milk

That's awesome! Omg there's so many drinks

This is amazing, this is the best matcha latte I've ever had

Starbucks eat your heart out

It's so delicious!

It's like icecream

Yeah it's really thick and creamy

And soy milk!

Next we headed to Yamatoya Honten Hotel

to view an art exhibit my Ninagawa Mika

She gave amazing artistic makeovers to traditional Japanese hotel rooms

The result is pretty amazing

I think you guys are really gonna love this

The food here is SO GOOD

It's really delicious

Which I'm pretty sure is cucumber, but I'm still not sure

The konnyaku in the middle is really really squishy

Can't really show you guys, but it's so soft! And it's really juicy!

And then they have this yellow sauce to put on it, I'm not sure what it is

It kinda tastes like mustard, and it's really good

They just brought me some veggie tempura

And there's a tea set!

That's always like my favourite part of the ryokan

I'm obsessed with ryokan now, I've only stayed in 3

in total, but I'm really enjoying them

I think there's some yukata in here? Yeah!

Yukata and like toothbrush and stuff

This is some more futon

They give you so many futon

You could cover the whole floor in futon and have a sleepover with all your friends
