Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles welcome back everyone I'm here again with Jeff grant SBR contributor and today we're going to be looking at that MLB game between the Red Sox and the Yankees But first off, how you doing this morning my man? doing great Dax. This is one of the final games of this historic rivalry with shortstop derrick jeeter so a lot of sports bettors will be interested and wagering on this contest. No doubt my man now, the Red Sox they are clearly looking to mess up with the Yankees a postseason aspirations and they do want to close out their 10-game Road trip with a winning record now Jeff do you think the lineup will be limited since they're actually facing a left-handed starter Thursday night? You know Dax, I was initially looking to fade the Red Sox in this spot and due to the fact that they are fishing out that long road trip but they've actually had pretty good success in closing out road trips the final game believe they have a 7-3 record in that situation and yeah they have been limited against left-handed starters and it's been a bit surprising especially since the beginning of August a since they were acquired cesspit this from the Athletics and also Allen Craig a right-handed hitter from the St Louis Cardinals they've gone under the total in all five games against left-handers with in the lineup so definitely Red Sox should be limited in this one offensively Now Jeff, the Bronx Bombers are gonna be playing 15 of their final 25 games at home but what needs to happen for this proud franchise to chase down the Tigers in the Mariners in the AL wild-card race. The Yankees need to have all the free agent acquisitions come together and really play their best baseball this season and you're starting to see that last night the Yankees pulled off the victory in the second game in the series and the real story was Brian McCann the catcher Who they acquired as one of the biggest free-agent acquisitions from the Atlanta Braves during the offseason he's kinda got an hot Jacoby Ellsbury seems to get have gone past a recent lower body injury so that's really the key for the Yankees and of course this entire club house once they rally around Derek Jeter because they want to reach the postseason in this final game as an MLB player not on a man now on the Red Sox we know that their ranking in last in the American League in runs scored now designated hitter big Bobby David Ortiz is he just 196 against the Yankees in 2014 now could this be an indicator that the betting total might be falling short in this series finale without a doubt tax a night with I would be surprised if actually David Ortiz played in this game because up the fact that the Red Sox are closing out a 10-game Road trip with that being said is probably gonna ask to land in the lineup because it is against the Yankees but he'll be facing left-handed pitcher Inc risk at 10 who should be able to limit and and also I mentioned already cesspit is incredibly just aren't getting it done against southpaw starters right man so taking that into account we gonna give a lean-to in this case you know what I'd love to take the eighties and the spot but I just think the price is a little too high I'm you can take the Red Sox here because their two starting pitchers in a seven-game losing streak and I think he and is definite paid material if the Red Sox keep him in the rotation for the rest the 2014 campaign so I'm gonna go under the total here the Red Sox 93 in 12 the under in their last 13 Road games against left-handed starters act good stop a man thank you once again for your valuable insights out again tomorrow thank you pepper sports book review: dot com stacks Lloyd burden
