The movie "Your Name" tells the story of Mitsuha and Taki, a teenage girl and boy that switch bodies and lives. Since it's August debut, director Makoto Shinkai's film has already comes Japan's 11 highest-grossing film of all time. Fans make pilgrimages to real places in Japan, on which some scenes in the movie are based. One stairway next to a shrine in downtown Tokyo is particularly popular. Enthusiasts come here to compare scenes to the movie, and take photos like their favorite characters. I wanted to come here, because this place was used in the very memorable last scene and the trailer. "Your Name" has made more than $100 million at the box office. That's a record for any animated film not made by power house studio Zibri and director Hayao Miyazaki. Some critics are hailing 43-year-old Shinkai, the "Your Name" director, as the next Miyazaki. One of Japan's most-loved directors. Miyazaki is famous for films such as the academy award winning "Spirited Away". Shinkai's fame may soon spread beyond Japan. Film distributor Toho says it has plans to distribute "Your Name" in 89 markets.
