This way our knife will be in best condition

even in the forest

It is true that

we can sharpen our knives at home

with different types of whetstones

in better conditions

and more confortably

but

whetstones

as the Fällkniven DC4 or DC3

are quite small, as you can see

need no space

and can be very useful in the mountains

Actually I like the most the DC4

because it has a longer surface

and it is easier to work with
