Hi everyone welcome to the washington DC
series. Today we're going to talk about
the National Museum of American History.
In this video will tell you what is the
most convenient way to get to the museum
and what are the top attractions inside the
museum as well as tips to make sure that
you get the most of your visit there. The
most convenient way to get around
the central D.C. area is by Metrorail. You
need to take the blue, silver, or orange
line and exit at the Smithsonian station.
Make sure to take the National Mall exit and
then you can just walk to the museum.
If you're in the National Mall area but too far
from the museum to walk, take a DC circulator bus
it's pretty cheap and it saves you from
way too much more walking, and if you
have young kids this is a lifesaver.
Admission is free and the museum is open
from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily
except on Christmas day. If you're an
