- What is this elbow? - [Girl on right] You have
something in your teeth, and I'm telling you now
so that it's not on camera later and forever.
It's on this tooth.
No, other side.
- Are we started?
- [All] Oh! (laughter)
- Oh, you go first.
(laughter)
- I was very focused on my grades.
I had a boyfriend, ugh.
- You did? What?
- That's weird to think about right now.
- Really? (laughter)
I dressed all in, like,l Abercrombie and Hollister.
- Oh, wait, so --
(laughter)
- I wasn't unpopular, but I wasn't, like, the most popular.
- I went to a really tiny school.
I went to school with 19 people.
- In your grade, or like in the whole school?
- Oh, no, in my grade.
- Okay, that's so crazy.
- I was valedictorian, though.
- What were you like in high school?
- Um, in high school?
- Okay, I just wanted to check on that.
- [Voiceover] Yeah, on the, you know.
- [Voiceover] How you doing, Wang?
- Everyone's here while we're filming.
Okay, we've gotta finish this.
Okay, cool.
- Bye, Wang!
- Wait, what were you like?
- In high school, I had like a rebound
to like norm core.
Like I worked at Hollister for a while..
- I wanted to fit into Hollister jeans,
and I just couldn't.
That's my Hollister story.
Were you guys like the type of people
who were like, "Oh, I can't wait to get out of high school."
- Yes.
- 'Cause that's kind of what I was like.
- My parents were always really strict,
so I was like, "Get me out."
But I love them.
- My parents were so strict, I also love my parents,
but my dad made a rule at one point
that I had to be home when the sun was down.
And I was like,
"This su--" - [Middle girl] Oh my God,
my mom did the same thing!
- I'm like, "The sun goes down at four!"
He's like, "Be home."
I was kind of a loser.
I was like, not a loser, I was just an overachiever.
Like ASB President.
I was like the president or the team captain of everything.
And I wasn't not popular.
I was very well-known,
but in this weird mascot-y sort of way.
It was like, "There's Ashley!"
- I feel like I can't take this seriously.
(laughter)
- I mean there's 19 of you in your class.
- In my class, yeah.
- Well known, that's 20 people.
(laughter)
- Try to be the most popular of 100 people.
It's harder than you think.
(laughter)
- Wait, what were you like in high school?
Are you currently in high school?
Tell us down here.
- Sara, what were you like in high school?
- I was not very cool.
I wore a lot of shirts with cartoon characters on them.
- [Voiceover] Wait, you still do that.
(laughter)
- [Voiceover] What were you like in high school?
- I was an alien.
(laughter)
- (beep) Barry Samuels right there!
(peppy music) (whistling)
