Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hi guys! Not so long ago we were solving puzzles and all kinds of mysterious criminal riddles. In today’s episode we ll continue training our grey matter. These ten riddles you’re about to see will help you concentrate and improve your attention and memory. Remember, you can always pause the video if you need more time to think. Don’t forget to put thumbs up while you re brainstorming! Ok, lets begin! 1. Only the most attentive of you will understand what’s wrong with this photo. So, take a look and try to tell what’s wrong with it. Answer: That’s right, the girl has six fingers. Some people say that the girl is suffering from some rare disease, others say it’s just a Photoshop trick. Who knows? 2. Here’s a picture of a dead man with a gun in his hand. There’s unfinished cigarette, a note and a pen on the table. The room is a mess. There’s also a picture of the man’s dead wife above the cooker with a frying pan on it. A calendar with date circled red and a road bag under it. Do you think it was a murder or perhaps a suicide? It was a murder. While the pistol is in the left hand, the red pen lies on the right side of the table. There’s an unpacked bag by the drawer that tells us that the man was off to somewhere. We can also evidence signs of struggle, unfinished cigarette, opened cell phone and a frying pan. Was he planning to dine after death? 3. Pre-schoolers solve this puzzle in about five minutes. Some programmers spend at least an hour struggling with it. Many people give up after a while. I hope you wont have any problems with it. Answer: Little kids are not capable of searching mathematical patterns and making equations and that’s why they’re more likely to notice that the sum depends on the quantity of circles in each number. Number 9 for example has one circle, number 8 has two, number 1 has no circles, which means that 2582 equals 2. 4. There’s a row of 6 glasses. The first three are filled with liquid, other three are empty. You should place them in such order that the filled glasses would interchange with the empty ones one by one. You re only allowed to switch one glass. Answer: As the matter of fact, you don’t need to switch any of the glasses, all you had to do is to pour water from one glass into another. And there you go, the problem solved. 5. This interesting illusion shows us that our eyes can let us down when we least expect it. So, what do you see in this picture? By the way, only 15% of people can see what it really is. Answer: This is a cowboy wearing a hat. If you noticed him then you’re in the 15%. But most people see a bat. 6. Here’s one more. Take a good look at this picture and try to tell what’s in it? I saw something rather scary for example. But in fact it’s jut a head of a cow. 7. Now pause the video and count the pencils. Leave the number in the comments. I ll try to predict your answers: 48, 54, no, that s not it. There are 4 piles. Each pile has 18 pencils. 18 multiplied by 4… and the answer is 72. 8. So now that we re finally warmed up I think you will solve this one pretty quickly… This is a photo of an 8-gigabyte flash drive. What s wrong with this photo? Answer: The company did quite a mistake showing their first presentation of an 8 gigabyte flash drive with a shadow from a 4 gigabyte version. Perhaps it was just a funny joke? 9. This is an old riddle from the USSR. Which one of these boys will carry more water? Answer: Despite the fact that one of the boys is carrying a bigger can, both boys will bring the same amount of water. According to communicating vessels law the water level of both cans wont exceed the level of their nozzles. All the excess water will spill. 10. So in the end we have a riddle that stumped the internet. Swiss photographer Tiziana Vergara made an Instagram post with a riddle which provoked massive commenting and sharing. And it s all because nobody can really tell how many girls there are in the photo. Now it s your turn guys! How many girls do you see? There are only two girls in the photo. It s just that they re sitting between two mirrors forming an illusion of an endless tunnel. Normally such effect is used as a decorative element although in some cultures it is believed that this kind of mirror could summon angry spirits. So how many girls did you count? How many correct answers do you have? And if your answer was wrong, then what was it? Because your answer might be a lot more interesting.
