(child yells) - Whoah! - So this is my very first time on our trampoline. - (sings) "What can I say, except you're welcome for the tides, the sun, the sky." - [Jeremy] So Caleb, why you working on this song? - Me and Isaac are going to be doing a play. Elise is Moana, Laura is Tafiti. - But it starts when I'm the-- - [Caleb] The lava monster. - I'm the chicken. - [Dad] You're gonna be the chicken? - I'm also the dad. - [Jeremy] What part is Jenae? - She's the coconut pirate. - You wanna be the crazy Grandma? - You think I'm made a good crazy Grandma? - Uh-huh! - How about I'll be the ocean? - Yeah, that would be a great idea, Momma. (upbeat music) - We're headed out on our run this morning, I'm gonna try to keep up with this guy. (upbeat music) - I'm so bummed, I missed a deadline for something, ugh. I hate feeling just disorganized, or behind, or just missing things by just a little bit. Like, I just can't keep up with life. Just gets me frustrated, but I need to be patient with myself. like, Jenae is still really young, like, I definitely feel from organization and being on top of things standpoint, I'm definitely still recovering from having a baby. I feel like I'm still getting the gist of the schedule, and the flow of five kids so, oh well. We'll keep working. Whatcha doing? - I'm checking to see if there's a throat in my mouth. - You're checking to see if there's a throat in your mouth? - [Kendra] Ahhhhh. What's it look like? - It looks like gray - Ahhhhh - [Kendra] Is Jenae getting snuggled? - Yeah. I love my brother more than anyone. - [Kendra] Jenae, did you just say that you love your brother? - More than anyone. - [Mom] Whoah. - [Laura] Guys, it's time to go inside! (kids shout and talk) - All right, so this is a big day for me. These are some new pants that I got yesterday when I was out shopping, and they fit. And here's the big deal: I'm not wearing maternity pants. Every since Jenay's been born, I've still been wearing my maternity jeans, and so they have this elastic band that comes way up here, and they like slide off because I'm not pregnant anymore. Anyway, I do not fit back in my pre-pregnancy clothes, but I went and I got some new pants, and it feels good to button pants. - [Dad] You look great. - These are pants! I'm wearing pants. - [Caleb] Where are we going? - Somewhere fun, you wanna come? - Where? - Do you want to come? - Yeah, but where? - Well I'll show you, let's get in the car. (twangy music) - Oh! It's beautiful. - [Mom] Let's go see the kitchen first. - Okay. - Look at this kitchen, look at these countertops. - I like that. (children exclaim) - Is that the pantry? This is what mommy dreams are made of. Come see the pantry. - [Caleb] Or we could just move here. (children exclaim) - This is a laundry room pantry dream. - Mom, look. - And a mud room. This is genius, this is what I love about new homes, it gives new ideas. - We could move here. - You think so? - And then I guess this is where the garage goes. - [Kendra] Yep, let's see the garage. The way that these are made, these are big enough to put a whole laundry basket in. Like, that's the thing: it's shelving for the laundry basket. - [Laura] And look, this is where makeups go. - [Mom] Oh, is that where you put your makeup? - [Dad] In the laundry room. - [Kendra] For sure! Look at this pretty trim. - Nothing makes Kendra more giddy than looking at new homes. - [Kendra] I love it! - What if we put clothes inside of here? And then we can put our clothes in here. - [Dad] Should we put our clothes in there? - Uh-huh. - [Dad] Right next to the kitchen table? - [Laura] Yeah! - [Dad] Little prodigy designer. (children exclaim) - [Isaac] A huge washtub. (children exclaim) - I wanna try something: can we all fit in this shower? This thing is huge! - [Dad] You guys, look, it's two-sided. Should we shower on that side, or this side? - We could have a dance party. (dance music) - [Child] Whoah! - Look how big it is. - There might be some secret tunnels. - This carpet is nice. - This is the biggest basement I ever saw. (children exclaim) - [Dad] Laura, what should we put inside of there? - Oh, the cooking stuff: there's one and then two and then three and then four. - [Dad] Did you just toot? - (laughs) Yeah. (dad laughs) - Oh look at this bathroom! - This is so awesome. - [Dad] Should we go see the upstairs you guys? - Yeah - Jenay is not impressed, apparently, with this house. - [Dad] (laughs) All right, upstairs. - This is a big playing room. - Dad, look at this huge room! Look at that, this one's big. Let's see if we can all fit in here. - [Kendra] Wanna see if we can all fit in here? - This is huge! - Oh, there's even extra room. - Whoah! Whoah! - [Dad] All right guys, do you think looking at homes is boring? Should we just go home? - No, I wanna look at a lot more. - [Dad] You wanna go see another one? - [Kendra] So I love creative homes, I love seeing the different architecture, and the different layouts and designs. And it's just gorgeous to me. To me, it's a form of art. But what's different this time is we actually are thinking about moving. Not today, not tomorrow, but some point in the next couple years we're definitely going to be moving. There's five kids in our family, and we live in a three-bedroom house. We're just not gonna be able to fit in our house forever. And so it's kinda different looking at is as like, oh, what kind of houses are we interested in? (guitar music) - [Laura] Oh, the kitchen! - Friends of ours are the builders for this house. - Look how big this island this. - Mom, look: noodles! - [Kendra] I see the noodles. Guys, look! And the light automatically came on. (twangy music) (children exclaim) - There's two showers! We can all fit in here. - [Kendra] Do you like that game, Miss Laura? If somebody else came in right now, they'd be like, uh what's that whole family doing in the shower? (laughs) - Wait, I could build this. - [Dad] You could build this? - [Kendra] Is it an unfinished basement? - [Dad] So we'll need Cubby to do the finishing on it. (twangy music) - Someone else just walked into this house, and Laura asked politely: "why are you here?" So Laura these houses are all open to the public, so anyone can come in and walk around right now. - So that's why we're (mumbles) (trickling water) (classical music) - So I've never seen a vaulted closet before. I don't know. what would you ever put over there? (percussive music) - [Dad] You chilling? - So we're attempting a new restaurant, but this is our first time eating out at a restaurant as a family, of seven... (upbeat guitar music) - [Jeremy] Hey big girl, you ready to get up? (laughs) Did you have a good nap, big girl? - Yeah - Yeah So Amazon just dropped off a box. - Basketballs? - [Dad] Yeah they're you-sized balls, instead of the big one that we have. I was sad always seeing you guys playing with a soccer ball. So I was like, hey, let's get some basketballs. - Yes! (upbeat music) - [Jeremy] Nice! (popping sounds) - [Kids] (singing) "Every trail I track, every path I take every road leads back to this place I know, where I cannot go, where I long--" - [Kendra] It's still going. (kids singing "How Far I'll Go") - All day. (kids singing "How far I'll go) (kids shouting in distance) - [Kendra] Good morning. What a cute yawn. - Why do you have a banana on your arm? - [Elise] Yeah, why? - All the kids are so curious. So with my poison ivy getting worse and worse, I've been reading all these home remedies for poison ivy. Yeah, you put banana peels on the poison ivy. We'll let you know if it works or not. Do you guys ever use home remedies though, for injuries or things, where your mom's like, oh you need the honey and vinegar, or witch hazel. You know, there'a whole bunch of home remedies. - Well, it is gorgeous out tonight, like perfect weather. So we're outside enjoying it in our backyard. I think we're gonna play some frisbee. Luckily our frisbee is soft, so when the kids get hit in the head with it, it doesn't hurt. (upbeat music) - [All] Yay! - I just caught it, I just caught it! - [Kendra] You had a good catch. - He's like, and I'm like. - [Kendra] Good one. (percussive music) - [Kendra] Oh, thank you So this is my very first time on our trampoline. I didn't realize that I've never been on it before, but we got it right when I found out I was pregnant with Jenae, and so I was morning sick. And I just have never been on here to jump. So we're having a lot of fun, running around and jumping like crazy people. Welcome to Trampoline School. All right, we're going to do our family read-aloud on the trampoline tonight. (reading aloud) "There were three Eric's in her class, she didn't know which one Mr. Kidswater meant." (child yells and laughs) - I see what's happening here. - Well today I'm trying to tackle shopping for myself. (laughing)
