Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles JAY: Right now we’re sitting in DR’s beautiful concert hall where we just shot something for our brand new single “United”. We had Aura come by the studio and she came up with some really good melodies, we had our good homie Nabil Nafar produce it, we had some people on violins, we had a live guitar on it, we have the sick folk music vibe and then we of course have Lisa Rowe from Germany on it, who adds a nice vocal. I like the line “it only takes two people to party” – it doesn’t take much to create something, it doesn’t take much to make good music and make art. Like if you for example can get a German singer and Nik and Jay on a track, and maybe all the Danes to sing a long, it’s fun! NIK: “United” is a track that’s been in our drawer for years now - production wise, just some of the melody pieces… and then there’s been added and added onto it, and we’ve always known that we wanted to make this song at some point. Why in English? Why not in English? I don’t think the young people really care if it’s in English or Danish, if it works or not, it is more the older people who say “we like it better in Danish” or “it’s really cool in English, keep making more of this” we don’t think that much of it right now, it was just time for something new. That’s it. Shoutout to Beta and shoutout to the people who’ve been following us on all these journeys we’ve been on. We’re still the guys, your boys. And shoutout to everybody who embraces our new song and the new language called English, that most people know of here in Denmark, but yeah… It’s not completely over with Danish, is it? No, probably not.
