No. I haven’t . I didn’t even know about it. 沒有,我都不知道有這個展覽

The Orchid Show is very popular with people. 蘭展真的很受歡迎

Since you missed it, you’ll just have to wait until next year. 既然錯過 就只好等明年了

Still though, besides the Orchid Show, 不過除了蘭展之外

You can also visit the Orchid Tourist Factory. 也可以去蘭花觀光工廠逛一逛喔

The Orchid Tourist Factory? 蘭花觀光工廠

Where is that? 在哪裡

It’s right in Lioujia. 就在六甲喔

Besides orchids 它除了蘭花之外

there are a lot of pieces of art, 也有許多蘭花的藝術作品,

cultural merchandise 文創商品,

and do-it-yourself activities using orchids. 也有DIY活動

Wow! It sounds like a really nice place to go. 哇聽起來是個不錯的地方

Yep! The flamingo flowers of Lioujia are also quite well known. 沒錯六甲的火鶴花也相當有名

Mm hmm. I know about that. 嗯!這個我知道

There is even a bus stop designed like a flamingo flower there. 那裡有結合火鶴花造型設計的公車站

That’s right! 對啊

The Chianan Irrigation System 六甲有嘉南大圳

and Wushantou Reservoir are located there. 和烏山頭水庫

Produce there grows incredibly well! 這裡的農作物都生長得非常好

Except for that, are there any other spots you would recommend? 六甲還有其他推薦的景點嗎

The Lioujia Tile Kiln is really worth seeing. 六甲的瓦窯也非常值得一看

Tile kiln? 瓦窯

Yes. Early Fujian style architecture needed a lot of tiles. 對啊早期建造閩式建築需要用到大量的瓦

In those days Lioujia. had many factories producing tiles 當時六甲有許多製瓦廠

so Lioujia . has the title of “The Town of Kilns”. 也因此有「瓦窯之鄉」的美名。

Oh, I see. 喔原來如此

It seems you can’t see many of those anymore. 但是現在好像比較少看到

Yeah, but there are still fully intact tile kilns in Lioujia . 是啊!不過還是有保存相當完整的製瓦廠

They are really worth seeing. 非常值得一看

Then I absolutely won’t miss out seeing them. 喔那我絕對不能錯過

Absolutely! Lioujia. has even more local treats 當然囉六甲還有許多在地美食

that you shouldn’t miss. 更是不能錯過喔

Oh, really? Like what? 推薦哪些呢

The shaved ice with sweet gruel powder 廟前的麵茶冰

and stinky tofu at the front of the temple are local favorites. 和臭豆腐都非常受歡迎

Stinky tofu? 臭豆腐

Doesn’t it have a bad smell? 味道不是很臭嗎

Yes. It may smell bad but it tastes delicious! 沒錯聞起來很臭但是吃起來非常美味

It is really special so you should try it 非常特別

when you come to Tainan. 來臺南一定要試試看
