Interviewer: Tell me about the Wo Fat story, because obviously, it
doesn't seem like it's completely wrapped up in the premier.
Male: Yeah. Look, man; Wo Fat has an uncanny way of using McGarrett any way
he needs to. It's getting to a point with McGarrett, especially
after Doris McGarrett let Wo Fat go, or so Steve suspects, that
Steve is starting to suspect that Wo Fat and he might be a
little closer, more tightly-bonded than he knows. It's driving
him crazy, and that's his new obsession. He's onto it like a
bloodhound. That's something that drives him into the beginning
of this season.
Interviewer: How is his relationship going to be with Rollins? Is it
going to go well?
Male: Good. It's going really well. I think things are going pretty serious
for those guys. They're getting pretty serious. They're living
together. She has a few . . . I can't tease too much, but Cath
has a few pretty massive things happen. One is to do with
employment and another is to do with past love, which
McGarrett's not too happy about. Anyway, I can't tell you too
much.
Interviewer: Last thing: How is this? You guys have done this every
year.
Male: It's astonishing. How is this? This is my fourth Sunset on the Beach,
and I never, ever feel . . . I'm always surprised. I can't
believe the turnout. I can't believe the constant commitment.
I'm just so grateful, man. This is my job, it's what I know.
This show is just what I do every day in between living my life,
but I do it with all of my heart, and these people come here
with all of their hearts. I don't think they'll ever understand
what it means to me. It means the greatest deal ever.
Interviewer: Thanks so much. Have a good time tonight.
Male: Yeah, you too, man. Take it easy.
