Both of these pieces, they have a very pastoral first theme and

it’s interrupted by a very violent, stark, starkly violent second theme and

in this case, it comes so unexpectedly. It’s a little bit like the previous nocturne

with these two faces, but here the contrast is even more passionate.

That sounds so peaceful; and then, so disturbed.
