This year we have 12 YouTubers and four amazing dancers that are hopefully going to change these YouTubers into dancers and a chance to win up to $100,000. $100,000. And not only do they have to impress you guys at home but now they have to impress our judges. Former member of 'NSYNC, Joey Fatone, celebrity choreographer, Laurieann Gibson. With internet sensations, Dave Days, Shane Dawson, and Ryan Higa. Let the games begin. ONLYUSEmeBLADE. BRIAN: I think my channel is popular because people are interested in the knife-only aspect of playing Call of Duty. But then once they're there they realize that I'm just more of a chill, relaxed guy. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: StilaBabe09. MEREDITH: I make beauty videos and fashion videos and tips and tricks for young girls on how to feel confident in their own skin. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Alphacat. IMAN: Most known for my impression of the president, Barack Obama, and aside from that, musical parodies. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Meghanrosette. MEGHAN: I gravitated towards making beauty videos because I've been a shopaholic since I was probably three. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Hey-o. What's up y'all? You guys want to take a look at who you guys got paired up with? BRINN NICOLE: Hell yes. ANZE SKRUBE: Sure. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: All right. Cool. So let's get you guys a seat. Lauren, you got paired up with Alphacat. So let's take a look and see what kind of dance skills he has. [MUSIC - MAROON 5, "MOVES LIKE JAGGER"] [INAUDIBLE] ANZE SKRUBE: He's funky. He's funky. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Oh my gosh. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: He's got the Men in Black" outfit. Oh snap. OK. So this guy looks like he can dance. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Oh my goodness. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: What do you think? LAUREN FRODERMAN: This is going to be freaking awesome. I am so lucky. I don't know how or where this guy came from. He has to have been a dancer in a past life, if not this life. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: All right. Mike, you've got Stilababe09. Let's take a look and see what kind of dance skills she has, yeah? BRINN NICOLE: Aw. She's cute. Hey. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: She's got a little groove to her. MIKE SONG: Totally. [MUSIC - JENNIFER LOPEZ, "ON THE FLOOR"] ANZE SKRUBE: She can definitely act. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: OK. She's definitely a cute girl. How do you feel like you guys will do? MIKE SONG: I think we can do really well. She's got personality as she's miming out all her lyrics. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Cool. Cool. Well good luck to you guys, yeah? MIKE SONG: Thanks. So Stilababe09 seems like total teenage girl that dances with her girlfriends in the room at a slumber party type of deal. So based off of that I'm excited to work with that energy and multiply it. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Our next dancer. Brinn, you got ONLYUSEmeBLADE. Let's take a look and see what your partner can do. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, Brinn, get into that. He's actually following the choreography. Not bad. He's doing the game. BRINN NICOLE: [INAUDIBLE]. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Oh and we got the hands. OK. OK. All right. What do you think, Brinn? BRINN NICOLE: I'm excited. I think it'll be a nice little challenge. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Yes. Awesome. BRINN NICOLE: So D-Trix tells me that I have ONLYUSEmeBLADE and of course I knew it. My intuition was so strong. I knew I was going to get a gamer. And gamers have strong, supporting subscribers. So I'm excited that I might have the underdog. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: All right. Last but not least, Anze. You got teamed up with meghanrosette. So let's see what she can do. [MUSIC - NELLY FURTADO, "MANEATER"] ANZE SKRUBE: She can move her hips a lot. Yeah. Pretty good. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: OK. OK. All right. Now how do you feel? ANZE SKRUBE: Pretty good. I think it's definitely going to be a challenge for me as well. I think I will be able to bring the most from Meghan. So the other teams, you guys better watch out. We're coming for you. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: Are you guys ready to win that or what? Let's bring it in. Season two on the count of three. One, two, three. Season two. Whoo. Stay tuned, y'all. Yeah. It's about to go down. Dance Showdown season two. Subscribe. Get my moonwalk. Get my moonwalk. BRIAN: Hello. BRINN NICOLE: Only, only, ONLYUSEmeBLADE. BRIAN: Hi. How you doing? BRINN NICOLE: I'm good. How are you? Hug. Nice to meet you. BRIAN: Very nice to meet you. BRIAN: Things that no one on YouTube would know. BRIAN: I'm actually a closet dancer when I'm drunk. I could do this little move where I'm like this and then bring it back up. BRINN NICOLE: Hey. He made me stand up and I was like, oh my god, I'm involved. And then he did it. It was really cute that he just did it on the spot and didn't shut down. After I saw that you were a gamer, I thought it might be really cute if maybe I was a sexy cop and you were a robber. And we're both trying to kill each other. It's like he's always playing the game but this time he's in the game. What if after this show you could not only become a stronger dancer but-- BRIAN: Like slim it up? BRINN NICOLE: All of a sudden it's like an extreme makeover. BRIAN: Yeah. BRINN NICOLE: That'd be cool. BRIAN: That's one of the goals of this. BRINN NICOLE: Really? BRIAN: That's one of the goals of it. BRINN NICOLE: OK. Good to know. So I come from here. I'm in front of you, dancing. Don't get too excited. BRIAN: I think me and her have good chemistry. There's no sexual chemistry but it's like teamwork chemistry. I feel like I'm in a science project and her and I both want to get an A. BRINN NICOLE: Seven, eight. Boom. From the top. Five, six, seven, eight. BRIAN: I can't even do it. It's like her upper body moves [MAKES WHOOSING SOUND] like that so quickly. I just need to work on it. MIKE SONG: Hey. MEREDITH: Hey. MIKE SONG: Hello. MEREDITH: I'm Meredith. MIKE SONG: Mike. MEREDITH: Nice to meet you, Mike. MIKE SONG: Nice to meet you. Do you have any dance experience? MEREDITH: I do. I did cheer for three and 1/2 years, competitive cheerleading. MIKE SONG: That's awesome. MEREDITH: Thanks. Mike is really funny. And he's really just easy to talk to. Have you seen moving like Bernie on YouTube? MIKE SONG: Yes. MEREDITH: I'm obsessed with it. MIKE SONG: OK. Oh my god. The Concept of this routine, I was thinking high school prom themed. And we're going to be the two awkward ones at the dance. MEREDITH: Sounds good. The routine is perfect for my age because this is the time in high school when we're going to high school dances and we're learning how to dance with each other and just have fun. MIKE SONG: And five, six, seven. IMAN: Oh snap. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Hi. IMAN: What's up? LAUREN FRODERMAN: Hey. IMAN: Yes. LAUREN FRODERMAN: So nice to meet you. IMAN: You too. I was actually kind of hoping it was her. I was a big fan of hers when she was on "So You Think You Can Dance." And she's so awesome. What do you want with it? I'm excited I have you. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Oh my gosh. You're adorable. He walks in and Alphacat starts dancing. That made me so happy. I just feel like I won the lottery. This is what I was thinking about the dance. You have your Obama impersonation. So Obama, he wears suits. He's a sophisticated, classy guy. So I think we're going to give like a little sophisticated routine. Suit, Obama, snobby socialites. I mean, it all makes sense, right? IMAN: OK. I thought I was going to be the excited one. And I was but then she's running around the room because she's excited I knew how to dance. And I was like, this is perfect. So we're both excited. Let's knock it out. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Five. On six, your hand goes up my leg. I shaved. Don't worry. Your hand goes six, seven. IMAN: But I'm not doing this. I'm going up, right? LAUREN FRODERMAN: Yeah. OK. You're the girl for a second. IMAN: I didn't shave. LAUREN FRODERMAN: It's always so much fun, especially as a teacher, to have a student who is excited to learn. Because it reminds you why you love teaching in the first place. The fact that he's excited about dancing makes me really excited about teaching him the dance. And out, to the leg. Seven, eight. Oh my freaking gosh, yes. Perfect. Don't give me that grimace. You did perfect. ANZE SKRUBE: Hey. MEGHAN: Hi. ANZE SKRUBE: How are you doing? MEGHAN: I'm good. How are you? I'm Meghan. ANZE SKRUBE: I'm Anze. MEGHAN: Nice to meet you. ANZE SKRUBE: Pleasure to meet you. MEGHAN: Anze is definitely a really good dancer from what I can tell. But he's a boy and I'm like five years old. And I get awkward. And boys have cooties. ANZE SKRUBE: What kind of music do you listen to? MEGHAN: I listen to everything. ANZE SKRUBE: Do you like old school music? MEGHAN: Yeah. I love old school stuff ANZE SKRUBE: I have this really cool routine for you. And it's actually a '70s routine. So we'll try to capture '70s feel. MEGHAN: OK. Cool. Honestly, Anze's not my type. If I was attracted to him, it would not perform at all. I would be so much more awkward and feel uncomfortable and be like, I don't want to dance. Oh my god, no. So I'm happy that we can be buddies. ANZE SKRUBE: We'll have a lot of work to do. Hope you're ready. MEGHAN: I can do it. I'm ready. ANZE SKRUBE: Are you? MEGHAN: I think so. ANZE SKRUBE: Here we go. You're just going to press your heel down a couple times and try to use your hips. We are starting with the choreography and Meghan seems pretty nervous. And just start to lose everything. Yeah. And don't think about the up, down moves. So try to be just a little more funkier and a little more relaxed. Yeah, that's better. MEGHAN: I definitely think our routine is a little funky. It looked initially way easier than it actually was. So when he was doing it I was like, I wish we had something harder. But now I'm doing it, I'm like oh no, I'm really glad. ANZE SKRUBE: That was really good actually. Now try to dance three times bigger than you feel right now. MEGHAN: I did musical theater. I can do big. ANZE SKRUBE: Six, seven, eight. MEGHAN: With a crisp, sharp movement that's really cool that is just super in sync, and I think it's going to look awesome when we have it all perfect. BRINN NICOLE: Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill, five, six, seven, look. BRIAN: During the routine I'm a bank robber. For whatever reason it popped in my head, it reminded of me when I was little kid. When I used to sneak down the stairs on my tiptoes and make chocolate milk with the spoon. But not to clink the side of the glass while I'm stirring it. And just kind of a little ninja move. Drink my chocolate milk. Go back to sleep. BRINN NICOLE: You're going to be here. So I'm going to be-- you're sweaty. BRIAN: It's not sweat, it's passion. This isn't sweat. This is actually passion. Obviously I'm a bigger guy. I'm looking forward to the future when I'm in the finals, and I won't be sweating as much and I'll be slimmer. BRINN NICOLE: I don't care when someone gets sweaty like that. But again it's because he's not used to this. BRIAN: I feel 200% better than when I first walked in. I'm going to win this thing. It's not even a question. BRINN NICOLE: Good. Good. ANZE SKRUBE: You just want to do a couple hip pumps. MEGHAN: OK. ANZE SKRUBE: So you want to go, one two, three. Face this way. I started with a little hip roll which was a little weird and a little awkward for Meghan. MEGHAN: My parents are going to have a field day. ANZE SKRUBE: Try to match. Yeah. One and two and three. MEGHAN: I'm a little nervous about the whole pelvic thrust. ANZE SKRUBE: One, two, three. MEGHAN: I'm 19 and I'm going to get up on stage and pelvic thrusting. ANZE SKRUBE: It's five, six, seven, eight. You like that, don't you? MEGHAN: I think it's so sexual. And he's like, oh it's not sexual. But he's like, it's not sexual with his accent and all that stuff. And he's foreign, and we're doing hip thrusts. And my parents are going to watch this. ANZE SKRUBE: Here. Here. MEGHAN: Oh my god. This is like the most sexual dance ever. ANZE SKRUBE: Is it? MEGHAN: My parents are going to watch this. ANZE SKRUBE: We didn't even get to the sexual part. MEGHAN: Oh. Don't say that. ANZE SKRUBE: No. I'm just kidding. I'm sorry, Meghan. I know it had to be a little awkward for you, but it worked out well at the end. Everything you do, just try to have a little more feeling, swag. MEGHAN: I got a lot of swagger. ANZE SKRUBE: Oh. Well you know what? I'll bring you some more swag. MEGHAN: While we were dancing, Anze gave me this shirt that said Swag on it because he told me I need to channel my inner swag. So putting the shirt on-- granted it was more like a dress on me-- I felt a little more confident. I felt like I had a little more swag. I have to pick myself up one of those swag shirts. I've never been a dancer but I want to gain you the confidence knowing that I can do something that's totally out of my comfort level. ANZE SKRUBE: Yeah. Good job. She's funky. That's her personality. She just doesn't dance funky yet. But I'll make her funky. I'll make her dance funky plus be her. So that's a winner combination. MIKE SONG: Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. MEREDITH: Our routine is amazing. To walk away with almost $100,000 would just be crazy. That just blows my mind. MIKE SONG: Twist. Boom. Boom. Step. Touch. My calmness level of winning this competition is a lot higher now. A, she's disciplined. B, she has some level of dance experience. And C, she just has to play herself. I feel like she's like the undercover warrior of the show. Yeah. Good job. MEREDITH: Nice. That was good. MIKE SONG: This is like a solid section that we've completed. MEREDITH: Yeah. I know. I feel good about it. MIKE SONG: You were doing awesome-- MEREDITH: Thank you. MIKE SONG: --Like super, duper awesome. MEREDITH: You're a good teacher. MIKE SONG: Well thank you very much. Meredith is like my little Pokemon right now. But I want to give her all this energy. So come performance time, she's going to be this crazy, fire breathing dragon. MEREDITH: I do think we have a real shot at winning. I am very competitive, and I have a lot of energy. So hopefully that will really shine through in the routine and the judges will see that. LAUREN FRODERMAN: My leg's going to come-- IMAN: Five, six seven, eight. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Exactly. Oh my god. We're professionals. We're freaking professionals. Exactly. OK. Let's go from the top. Let's go from the top. IMAN: I already feel great about the routine. We're able to move quick and get it down. It's just been a lot of fun so far. I'm on cloud nine right now. I'm ready to go. [MUSIC PLAYING] IMAN: I used to dance. And it's so far in the background. I'm a little rusty. It'd be neat for myself to see if I still have it. I could still kind of prove that I can step up and show out. LAUREN FRODERMAN: That was it. Oh yeah. I am so excited about this partnership. The other people should just go home because I really think we have this. Just think about ways that you can make this yours and make like this relate to your life somehow, I'm just so excited you're working with me. IMAN: Me too. LAUREN FRODERMAN: This is going to be so great. I don't even care that you're sweaty. I just don't care. IMAN: Sweaty hug. LAUREN FRODERMAN: I don't care. I'm just so happy. Thank you so much. IMAN: Me too. Me too seriously. LAUREN FRODERMAN: Get ready to kick some major butt. IMAN: I will. I will. FEMALE SPEAKER: The most difficult thing right now is just trying to move my body. LAURIEANN GIBSON: Where was the dance? I mean she was cute-- JOEY FATONE: She was cute. She was good. But I just wanted more. BRINN NICOLE: Are you comfortable with it though? MALE SPEAKER: I'm not comfortable ever, with anything dance. MALE SPEAKER 2: I was uncomfortable but in a good way. ANZE SKRUBE: But the most important part is, stay with the music. LAURIEANN GIBSON: Now, I'm conflicted. This might be my favorite routine. MALE SPEAKER 3: I'm definitely challenging myself because I've never took choreography. Oh my god. I need to sit down. I'm going to throw up. DOMINIC SANDOVAL: And it only gets better here on Dance Showdown. [MUSIC PLAYING]
