What's the perfect age for marriage? These days I don't think there is a perfect age anymore, but there probably is an ideal situation when people should consider getting married. The ideal situation would probably be being financially secure or having some savings in the bank to pay for the wedding first of all. As well as that, they should consider their career. I think they should have a stable career or a job that they can rely on to provide for them in the foreseeable future. If they meet those two criteria, then I think that sounds absolutely ideal - there's nothing stopping two people getting married and making quite a radical, drastic change to their lifestyles. I don't think people are getting married later because there's an age or number they're trying to avoid, but I think people are more invested in their own futures before they start to commit to somebody else or decide to settle down with a partner.
