What's the difference between big companies and small companies? Generally speaking, big firms often have different offices or branches across the country, or if they're a multinational business, they may have representatives across the world. Big companies tend to have more revenue so they can hire more employees - they can have bigger teams and they can make deals and conglomerates with other companies. I mean they can merge businesses together to become even more influential and successful. In terms of small companies, they obviously have less money to play with, so they probably deal with much smaller members of staff they might also have smaller offices on smaller workplaces with fewer employees, and I think their power and influence is much more limited due to the size of their business. Independent businesses are quite common and usually operate out of single story or single room offices. So I think those are some of the key differences between large and small businesses. check out MarkTeacher.com for more IELTS courses lessons and tips!
