Do you prefer listening to live music or recorded music. I think most people prefer to go to a live concert, or a lot of my friends really love going to live gigs and seeing the band in person, but I'm actually a little bit different. I'm on the other side of the fence. I think when you listen to a record the music and that track has been fine-tuned to the band's perfect taste. I mean they've used the technology and they've been able to refine and perfect that record so it sounds exactly how they wanted it to. Obviously that level of perfection is quite difficult to achieve in person, so sometimes when I listen to live recordings of bands I'm a little bit disappointed, because it doesn't sound like it does on the record. That said, that's the reason a lot of people go to concerts in the first place - is that it sounds different from the record and they're listening to a completely unique performance that you cannot buy on CD or download. So I understand both sides - I understand both camps, but personally I prefer listening to the record, the CD, or the mp3.
