Yeah. -So, yeah, I left school at 17 with nothing but a cardboard folder of paintings and drawings, and I still paint and I still draw. -So, you went to school, but you thought -- Is that what you were gonna get into or acting? -No, yeah, I wanted to do album covers. -Yeah. That's cool. -And, you know, but thank God for acting. [ Laughter ] Because, otherwise, I don't know what I'd be doing. -No, I think you -- Well, let's show a couple of these photos. This one here is called "Fiji." -Yes, this is -- -Dude, that's beautiful. -Is it beautiful? [ Cheers and applause ] I painted this one for my wife in Fiji. You know, it's about this size. -And you just bring, like, paints with you? Are these oils or what? -That's acrylic. -Acrylic. -And I paint in oils. -I love to know. I don't know any of this stuff. I want to learn. -You do? -I do want to learn, yeah. You could teach me. -Buy books on it, you know? -Teach me, Master. "Buy books." [ Laughs ] Or I could buy books on it. Sure, yeah. I thought you were gonna offer to teach me. Now, what is this one here? -And this is -- I did this in Pinewood Studios. [ Laughter ] Yes. The whole thing is available. Yes, you did the whole thing. -My wife, Keely, sent me, for Valentine's Day, this little bowl of flowers here, and I made that painting of it. -Yeah. It's a painting of flowers. Of course, yeah. That's what I was... -"Bisou Moi" -- "Kiss me, I love you." So, there you go. -Aww. That's for your wife. And then tell the story about this one, because I love this one, but the story is even -- -Well, this is just -- -It's Bob Dylan. -I was invited to amfAR with my wife, Keely, and they asked me to submit a painting. I put this up on the block -- -For charity? -It was for charity. It was for AIDS. -Yep. -So it was a very good cause. And it went up on the block at $30,000, and the gavel fell at $1.4 million. -$1.4 million. -So... [ Cheers and applause ] -...there you have it. And it went for a -- -$1.4 million. -It was nuts. Crazy-nuts. -Pierce, how cool is that? -I didn't expect that to happen. -Dude, before the show, I was looking at your stuff. I go, "This is amazing." I go, "Well, I hope no one pressured Pierce into giving me a painting," 'cause I don't really want it, but then I read the story about what you're gonna tell me, Bob Dylan. I was like, "It sold for $1.4 million." I go, "He's not giving you a painting, Jimmy." -No, I've done 100 copies of this, so one's got your name on it, so there you have it, yeah. -Oh, my gosh. -There you go. All right. Right here, right now. -I'll sell it for 1.3. 1.3. Who's got it? I would never do that. I would never, ever in my life do that. -Well, anyway, there you go. Painting is part of my life, and, you know, when you go off on your own tour and you're on sets and stuff like that, you have time on your hands. So wherever I go, I set up a studio and I paint.
