we will take a look at some

when talking about learning the English language

and more importantly

learning it as a second language.

So, the first question must be:

"Why do we need to learn English?"

Of course one of the reasons

當然在當今社會我們需要有能力說英語

why we need to be able to speak English nowadays

is because the world is becoming smaller.

是這個世界正在變得越來越小

Thanks to the Internet

謝謝網際網路

and our developing global economy

和我們不斷發展的全球經濟

more and more people are using English

越來越多的人開始使用英語

as a common way to communicate with each other.

作為一個與他人交流的普遍方式

So now it has become unavoidable

所以不可避免的

that companies and large businesses

公司和大企業

will need to employ people

需要員工

who can speak more than their own native language.

可以說除了母語之外其他語言的人

That is where English comes in...

這就是為什麼我們需要學英文

It is now officially considered

英文現在被官方地認為

as an international language.

是一種全球化的語言

Of course learning anything is difficult

當然學習任何東西都是很難的

and English is no exception.

學習英語也是

However, there are ways to make the situation easier.

但是，有一些途徑能讓它更簡單些。

I have come up with my own list of general rules

我有一套我自己的規則

for learning English.

來學習英文。

Do you want to hear them?

你想要聽到它們嗎？

Do you want to know what they are?

你想要知道它們是什麼嗎。

Ok. Let's go!

Learning English takes time and patience.

學習英文需要時間和耐心。

It cannot be rushed.

它不是一朝一夕就可以完成的。

Try to relax and take it easy.

嘗試著放輕鬆

The most important thing you need at the beginning

當你開始時最重要的是

is a good vocabulary.

好的詞彙量

Without words, you have nothing to work with.

沒有詞彙，你就沒有原材料

You must start with a strong foundation

在開始的時候，你需要有一個好的基礎

or base

或是地基

and slowly build on it, day by day.

然後慢慢地在其上建造，每一天都這麼做。

You must view English as a part of your body

你必須把英文看做你身體的一部分

just as you would, an arm or a leg.

比如一支胳膊或一條腿

It must become a part of your everyday life.

它必須成為你日常生活的一部分。

Daily practice is very important.

每天練習是很重要的。

Do not worry about making mistakes.

不要害怕犯錯。

In fact the more mistakes you make

事實上你犯錯越多

the more you will learn from them.

你從中學習到的就越多

Just like learning to ride a bike.

就像學習騎自行車的時候

Sometimes you fall off.

有時候你跌下來

So what do you do?

你應該怎麼做呢？

You get back on and try again.

你重新坐上車座再試一次

Do not look at English as just another subject.

英語也是一樣

Your attitude to English and the way you view it

你對於其的態度和你怎麼看它

will decide how well you progress.

將會決定你會進步地多快

Just as we say in English:

就像我們常說的

"No pain, no gain"

沒有傷痛，就不會獲得

The two most important words to remember

你需要記住兩個最重要的詞

when learning English are

在你學習英文的時候

Practice and Confidence.

耐心和信心。

Practice English everyday

每一天都練習英文

and be confident.

然後要自信。

You will find that the more you use English

你會發現你使用英語越多

the better your English will become

你的英語就會變得更好

and the more confident you become

你也會更自信

then the more you will want to use it.

然後你就會想要更多的使用它

Make it a rule to tell yourself

經常告訴自己

I can do it!

我可以做到的

I can do it!!

我可以做到的

I can do it!!!

我可以做到的

Please remember, my lessons are aimed at everyone
