Yes, way better than home-cooked meals. (bright, playful music) [Woman Host] Miko, notice anything unusual? I have a second chair. Hi, chair! [Woman Host] What do you think you're doing today? Saying hi to a chair and give him cash. [Woman Host] You are wrong! What? [Woman Host] What do you think that's there for? My daddy? [Woman Host] You got that right! My mom! (laughs) How's it going? Good. [Woman Host] Cavalli, tell me a little about your mom. She's beautiful. [Woman Host] Awwww. Thank you! [Woman Host] What do you think your mom was like when she was your age? Okay, she was boring. [Woman Host] Mari, is this true? Emmmm...no. (laughs) [Woman Host] We're doing a special episode where it's stuff that your mom ate when she was little. Oh! You excited? Mm Hmm. You wanna see what it is? [Woman Host] Do you have any guesses what it might be? Cupcakes. That's all I know! [Woman Host] Alright. Well, let's close your eyes and find out. - 'Cause I forgot everything. Yeah, yeah cupcakes! Really? They look like cupcakes to you? Watch. Can I have some whipped cream? (laughs) [Woman Host] What?! No! Aw...beans. You ate beans? Chicken in a Biskit, sardines, Tabasco and then, cheese whiz. Take this, fill it all the way up, take one of the cookies, drop it in. Sometimes you need to push it down with one. Okay. - Oh my, that looks disgusting. - So this is a piece of the sardine. [Woman Host] Cavalli, have you ever had sardines before? No. - Ooh. - You have to shake it. Ooh, is that okay? I love it! Okay. You can cut the potatoes in small pieces. Are you really? (laughs) There. Okay, so what you do, put the beans inside the Pandesal. More than that. Keep going. Alright. Good? Try one of these. And the trick with this is you want it to get... Uh-oh. See that's what happens. So you gotta find the perfect time where it's super soft, but won't fall or break. That was a perfect dip. It's not the best thing in the world. (laughing) [Woman Host] What if you could make this better, Wren? Chocolate syrup. That's not a bad idea. Oh man. [Woman Host] Kids these days, am I right? Better. Try it. Okay. Very potato-ish in that dish. Okay, ready? [Woman Host] Three, two, one... (laughing) Oh no! Really!? That taste disgusting! Well, it was great! I don't know what he talking 'bout. (laughs) Mmm... How's it taste? Good! 'Kay. Imagine eating this everyday. Why did you eat this everyday? We were broke. Growing up in Colombia, we stay at a table and we no leave the table 'til we are finished. Here, trying to raise four kids has been hard. I try to do my best. In my country, you grab a potato, and then, put some wasabi. - [Woman Host] What country is this? - The brain country. Oh, the brain country. I bet you wanted me to feed this to my kids. [Woman Host] Cavalli, do you think you're gonna do that? Nope. Not even the crackers and the cheese? I'll give them that. Maybe I'll sneak a little of Tabasco on it. [Woman Host] Wren, do you think you could see yourself making this at home? Yeah? Cheers to making this at home! (laughs) It's pretty good, huh? Mh hm. (laughs) I just showed my daughter this incredible recipe that I came up with and that you love, right? Does anybody else eat this? Comment below! You say thank you for watching. Thank you for watching! Goodbye! Bye.
