We made it to the very beautiful Sonora Island. We're here in Canada, and I am here with La Mer. They have partnered with us for this video. And it is so gorgeous here. We're at Sonoro Island. It's both of our first times here. And we're just soaking it in. We're waiting for our bags to come in, because there are lots of forest fires happening right now, which is very unfortunate. But this is so gorgeous, you guys. I freaking love it here. - Yeah, it's amazing here. Especially the fact that we got married a few days ago. You know, it was unbelievable that we had a lot of friends and family, and it's a lot to do, so coming somewhere like this, where it's so peaceful and relaxing, it's amazing. - First thing on the agenda is the welcome dinner. (upbeat music) - Good morning, everyone. It is a beautiful day here in British Columbia. I am in the same clothes as I was yesterday because unfortunately, the fires are so bad that they weren't able to bring our bags because it's so smoky. So what had happened was, when we landed in Vancouver, we took a separate helicopter to Sonora Island. And our bags were just there because there was supposed to be another aircraft, but. One of my carry-ons managed to sneak in, and so that one had underwear and makeup, so that's why I was able to do this face. Over here, we had a really great breakfast with Alex and Victoria, they just got engaged and I'm so, so happy for them. We're all part of the married crew, and yeah, we had a really great breakfast. Yay, the bags are officially here. Ooh, they have been on a journey. So I'm just gonna quickly get changed into our little boat outfit, and I'll talk to you guys in a bit. (upbeat music) All right, we just made it on the little boat, and now it's gonna take us to a bigger boat. But yeah, we're about to go and see the kelp harvest activation, very excited to see how they make their Miracle Broth. - Oh, that's gonna be good. (upbeat music) - [Jenn] We've arrived on the yacht. Got these beautiful women having La Mer cream, wow. - [Woman] Would you like one? - [Jenn] Yes, absolutely, thank you. - [Ben] Even I want one. - [Woman] Of course. - Of course, I go straight to the food. Ben goes straight to the bar. We've got a no-shoe policy over here because the floors should remain immaculate. (upbeat music) We have parked the yacht, and now we're looking at the people harvest the kelp. Right over, right over there. Thank you. - It's also known as a giant kelp. - Look, it's kelp. These algae in the kelp are what lock in the moisture. So this is in the Miracle Broth, which is in all the La Mer creams. (upbeat music) - [Ben] Now you see the real beauty, huh? - Yeah, I'm getting a great angle right here. - [Ben] What are we doing now, babe? - We are heading back to port after a beautiful time on the yacht. Lots of food, lots of knowledge about the kelp and all of these amazing properties. So, yeah, I'll tell you guys more when we get back. Oh my God, who's that? - [Ben] What a great welcome back. - Oh my God, he's like the Homeward Bound dog. (upbeat music) That was such a fun yacht day. We learned so much, it was very informative. We learned all the amazing benefits of kelp. Do you have the prop, babe? Oh I do, managed to sneak a bit of kelp back. The more I realize how precious it is, thought I'd get a bit of kelp here. - Oh wow, nice. - You can't tell here, but the material is just, it's just divine. - Are you eating it? Is it good? - It's supposed to be good, it's just the best nutrition. - So we're predicting that this is gonna be the next super food. And so this is, like, probably the main ingredient in the Miracle Broth, and obviously there's a lot more that goes into it. They grind it up, they ferment it, it is incredible. - It's ridiculous. - Yeah, so, it's great for the skin. And the person that created this, his name is Max. I'll leave his last name here, but he was working in a lab, and basically 75% of his face got burned off, so he looked to the sea to find a solution. And he found that this kelp really helped transform and heal his skin. And so his story is just very inspiring, and it's something that we can all benefit from, which is amazing. I have a facial in an hour, so I'm very excited for that as well, and Ben is gonna fly his drone. Goodness, so I came home to a lovely present. Let's open this, from Max Huber, who created this formula. This looks very very modern. Even though it's technically vintage. Oh, I love this packaging. Oh, oh my God, is this a? Wait a minute, I'm gonna wear this on my hike tomorrow. - [Ben] Yeah. - [Jenn] This is so sick. - [Ben] Im, in case you didn't know what your surname used to be. - Oh I know, Im Jolliffe. Okay, so I just got dropped off. I'm at the Sea Lion Lodge. I'm about to have a facial. I quickly just removed all of my makeup because I wanna make sure that the esthetician has a good base to work with. So I'm gonna change into my robes over here. These are all the products she's gonna put on my face. Ooh, I'm excited. (upbeat music) Hello, everyone, it is supper time. And we've got a lovely little corner table with a gorgeous view. - This whole place is just so serene and so peaceful. It's just, it's great, we're having such a good time. And tomorrow we've gotta get up early for our hike. - Yeah, morning hike. - Yeah, and then we've got an eco-tour. Apparently, a guy saw a couple of whales today. Loads of sea lions, some more eagles. - I have to say that I had the best facial of my life today. - She keeps going on about it, I didn't get one. - It's okay, it's okay. Next time. But it was incredible. Janae was so careful with my face, and I put some makeup on because I wanted to get some shots and make use of this gorgeous backdrop. But, girl, the facial was amazing. I never wanted it to end. I was getting drone shots of the sea lions, and the resort, and it's cleared up a lot now, because obviously the smoke made everything very, you couldn't really see much. So like, I think the winds are shifting, so you get to see the mountains now. - I think a lot of the fires are being put out, too, which is great. The firefighters are working so hard, and risking their lives. - Yeah, there's like 600 fires going on, which is just crazy. It's really sad to see, but yeah, seems like everyone's doing their thing. We feel safe, obviously, which is good. (upbeat music) - Good morning, everyone. It is almost eight a.m. We're about to do our morning hike, with the team. We're very excited. We're gonna go see a little viewpoint, then check out some water and then come back down. (upbeat music) - [Ben] How you feeling, babe, tired yet? - No, not at all. This is actually really great. It reminds me of hiking in Oakland or San Francisco. Great air quality, beautiful, everywhere. - [Guide] Thimbleberries, these are like the wild raspberries. You can eat these, they're a little dried out. - Really, ooh. Sure, thimbleberry. Mmm, they're really nice, hmm-mm. I feel like I'm in a Mer comic book right now. So cool. (upbeat music) All right, we made it to the top, or one of the tops of the mountains. We're on this nice little wooden platform, and we're looking at the view. - Lovely. - So gorgeous. - We went pretty high, didn't we? - Yeah. - Good job, guys. - Yeah, good job. (upbeat music) - [Ben] We did it. - We did it, we just finished our hike, and now we're having some breakfast. I went for some lox on Ciabbatta bread, and some roasted potatoes. - I'm having a second breakfast. We did a, what, two-mile hike, and you know, I get some French toast and some berries and all that. Oh hello there, guys, I've stolen Jenn's camera. Jenn is doing a testimonial for La Mer right now, so me and my boy Alex, there he is, we're going for a little bike ride to Sea Lion Cove. This is where we get lost, and this might be the last time you see of us, but we're having a lovely time. You know, when we're out here, a lot of our job, we're making sure the girls are good, getting nice shots of them and making sure everything's good, so we're having a little bit of lad time, you know. We got, what, half an hour till we gotta come back. So we're gonna go enjoy it, get some shots, and try not to fall off. Come on, Alex. Look at him go. A little sea lion there, having a bit of salmon. We made it. Look at this. Alex going to get the shot there. Gotta get your way through. This is what happens, you gotta risk yourself to get the shot. Don't risk yourself too much where you really risk your health and safety. Because that is most important. (upbeat music) So we made it to an absolutely lovely spot, look at this. Look at that view, huh? We just got the drone up, got some great shots of the sea lions and seals and birds. Right, so that was a success, got some lovely shots. Had some nice bonding time with my boy Alex. Now we're gonna go on the eco-tour. Cue the eco-tour. Activity. (chattering) - [Jenn] Now to go on the eco-tour, at the same dock we were yesterday. But it is definitely more clear today. Everything has blown over. It's really gorgeous. Oh, wow, look at you. - It's a life jacket. - Oh my God, life jacket jacket. (upbeat music) Oh my God. Whoa. You guys, we're looking at the whales, they're to our left. They're humpback whales. (upbeat music) Good evening, everyone. We are having our last dinner, our farewell dinner. I am keeping warm with this beautiful La Mer blanket. I've got my drink here. To the lovely couple, hi guys. - Hello, Patrick. - Hi. - We are the Le-La-La Dancers. From this nation of the Kwakwaka'wakw. (chanting) (applause) We are the Le-La-La Dancers, and I thank you all for being here. And to witness our performance of our people of the Kwakwaka'wakw nation.
