(chuckling) That's disgusting. - What so dis, it's natural. (synth chords) Hey, what's up, Ernie? - Hi. (Koji laughs) - Hello. - Hi. - I'm Koji. - I'm Neesa. - Neesa, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you, too. - What are we here to draw today? - You want to get right into it, huh? - Yeah. - No hello, how are you? (girl giggles) Whatcha been up to? You might find this quite surprising. We're gonna be drawing your future life partner. (laughs) What do you think a life partner is? - Someone, like, you live with. - It could be, yeah. Could be like a partner in crime. Or like, somebody you would marry. (boy screams) (Koji chuckles) (boy laughs) Any direction you want to take it, really. - Okay. (Koji laughs) - What do you want to start with? - The bod. Of an astronaut. - Of an astronaut? - Yeah. - Uh, why is that? - [Ernie] 'Cause I think it's cool. - [Koji] That's a good enough reason. - I want you to draw my best friend. - In real life, or like, uh-- - Real life. - Oh, okay. What's your best friend's name? - Nikita. - Nikita? So, what does she look like? - She has a face like mine. - She's your twin, or? - No. (Koji laughs) - She will always wear a red dress. (chuckles) - A red dress? You wanna explain what it looks like? - It's like a short sleeve one. It goes like down on your ankles. - Okay. What do you think this person would look like? 'Cause I gotta put a face on this person. - Brown hair. - Brown hair? Long or short? - Short. Kind of like yours. - Okay. What can you tell me about her nose? - Like my nose, except it's a little bigger. - Okay. - Because she's older. - [Koji] Oh, how much older is she? - [Neesa] A year and a half. - [Koji] Would you two be like sisters? - [Neesa] Yeah. - Would she like boss you around, or would you be equals? - Equals. - Equal partners. - I don't like being bossed around. (Koji chuckles) - Is it a boy or a girl, or does that matter? - We don't know yet. - Is it a human? - No, it's a shark. - It's a shark. In an astronaut suit. - Yeah. And a birthday cake on his head. - That's pretty stylish. (Ernie giggling) - Maybe we should put us together right here. I wear a fancy suit. - A fancy suit, okay. - She has a smile kind of like me. - Can you show me like what her smile looks like? - Uh... (Koji chuckles) Eh. - [Koji] What about her eyebrows? - Eyebrows? - Mm-hmm. You can, you can let go now. - Thank you. They're like mine. You're a good drawer. - Oh, thank you. A lot of times, the kids have very critical things to say. So this is the face that you're gonna see for the rest of your life. (boy yells) Yeah, dude, for real. (boy continues yelling) What do you mean by that? (boy chuckles) - One interest that we both love is slime. - Slime? - Yeah. - Like making slime? - Making slime, touching slime, playing with slime. - Oh, okay. - [Neesa] Ooh. - So if you had a life partner, right? It'd basically be like a friend that you do stuff with for your whole life. What's like some stuff you would want to do with someone like that? - Play lots of board games, like Monopoly and Risk. - [Koji] Would they have to let you win? Or you want them to play for real? - [Girl] Play for real. - Who do you think would win more? (both laugh) - Play soccer. - Play soccer? Okay. This shark's playing soccer in an astronaut suit. - Karaoke. She'll have a beautiful voice. - Does she have a name? - (chuckling) Austina? - [Koji] Austin and Austina. (chuckles) What would you sing? - A Whole New World. - Yeah? She seems pretty cool. - [Austin] Mm-hmm. - I approve, I approve. What's something else that you two would do together? - Take care of our dog. - Oh, okay. So you'd take care of-- - And cat. - And cat. - [Girl] I take care of the animal, and he plays with the animals. - Okay. - (chuckles) That's my job. - Uh, would you have any kids? - Nope. - No. - Okay, maybe we'll have a dog or something. Our pets are kind of like our kids, too. - Oh, okay. You're those kinds of people. - Yeah. - My husband has to like and want to try Filipino food. - What if somebody was really, really cool, but they didn't like Filipino food? Could you marry that person? Or no? - No. - Not possible? - My husband also has to be very good at fixing things. - Like what kind of stuff? - Like, he would also be able to like fix a phone. - Okay, maybe I'll make like a broken cell phone over here. So how do you make money then? - He carries a hammer a lot. - A hammer? - Yeah. - And what does he do with the hammer? - [Ernie] You hammer peanuts. - You smash peanuts and you sell the peanuts to make money? - Yep. - Would you live together? - Yes. - Yes, and where would you live? - In a house. Near the water. Around like ocean shore. - Okay. - So it would be a really big house. - Okay. - There'll be four rooms. - [Koji] Do you and Nikita share a room? - Nope. - No. Where does the space shark cowboy live? - He lives right on Saturn. - [Koji] On Saturn? - [Ernie] Yeah. - [Koji] Where is his family? - [Ernie] Mars. - So he grew up on Mars, but then he moved to Saturn? - Yeah. - What did he move to Saturn for? - The asteroid hit Mars. - But his family stayed there? - Well, no, they actually died. - [Koji] Oh, they died. Oh, that's tragic. Would you have a wedding ceremony and everything? - Yeah. - Where do you think you would do that? - Hawaii. - Hawaii? - Mm-hmm. - Can I come to your wedding? Am I invited? - Mm-hmm. - We can have like a party, and then we would have this ginormous cake which is about seven feet tall. - [Koji] Seven feet tall. - I think mine is gonna have a house, 'cause the party is about the first day of us living in the same house. - Oh, okay. - I like orange shirts. - So you have matching shirts then? - Yeah. - What's the shirt? - A silly octopus! The ink is black, and the black is blue. Use it in for it, too! I have a good imagination! (Koji chuckles) - Do you want to get married? - Uh, I don't know. I'm open to the idea. I've been alive for 31 years and haven't met anybody that-- - Me neither. - Yeah, exactly. Okay, you ready? On the count of three. One, two, three. - Oh. (chuckles) This is my future life partner, Nikita. - This is my life partner, a shark. - What's up with this here? - The ink is black, and the black is blue. Use it in. Oh wait, I already said that. - This is Austina. - (chuckles) Austina. - And she's singing karaoke. She has roller skates, and I have a hover board. - I love playing board games, so we have to play Monopoly. (Koji chuckles) And be able to fix phones and stuff. Thank you, Koji. - Thank you! That was fun. Hey it's me, Koji the Illustrator. And don't forget to subscribe to HiHo. Thanks for watching. See ya! Bye!
