- The guy is amazing. I mean,
he's already really had a career in a sense,
if you think of his underground career.
And now his pop career is starting to flourish,
which, the guy deserves it. I mean, he works hard.
He's on top now, so I give him props, man.
He's really good. - (FBE) In addition
to his music career, Logic has a channel on YouTube,
where he's kind of a YouTuber. - Oh really?
- (FBE) He has played video games and posted vlogs and also challenges
where he collabs with his wife who has a channel, too.
For his fans, what do you think it would mean to know
that you can watch this personal content from him?
- I think that's-- it makes him seem a lot more personable
if that's the case, if he's doing all these different types of things.
- I always think it's great to get to know an artist
on a personal side. For you to see them outside of their career
that you know them for, it's, like, he's sitting there
playing games that I would play, or vlogging about something
that I just encountered not too long ago.
That shows, like, okay,
he's not just this super mega star or whatever,
he's a normal person too.
- It's brilliant from his standpoint,
but something about YouTube, there's more of a connection
to the people, and to not just be a dude up on stage
and where you can actually tap into the person...
When he's with his wife, you get a connection there.
You get a connection on him when he's gaming
and doing his own vlogs and things like that.
They know who he is as a person. You really do get a sense
of those people, of people on YouTube a lot.
I mean, it's kind of crazy.
- (FBE) So finally, Logic has said of his career that other artists
want, quote, "Glitz and the glamour and all the women,
but they don't understand that all I do
and want to do is rhyme." - Yes.
- (FBE) What do you think about his attitude towards his own career?
- He's basically explaining what he wants.
All he wants to do is rap. But, I mean, he seems so humble
and so young that he already seems like he's woke and good,
so I really-- I'm looking forward to hearing more of his music.
- He's a real dude. He's a man of the people.
- He has it all figured out, man. He's focused on his goal,
is to, you know, get his message to the people.
- It's understandable if he feels frustrated in that way,
if he looks around and someone's rapping about just sex and money,
and then he's out here trying to change that...
- He's one of those artists that I have to meet
