Please welcome the lovely Jennifer Morrison. That's happened before. Thank you. That's it. That's very funny. That's happened to me before that I'm looking past. I'm just going to just give you a peck on the cheek. Sometimes we hug, sometimes we shake hands. And then you thought I was looking. I was bummed. I thought you were gonna kiss me. Yeah. This looking past there. Nice to meet you. You're from the Midwest. I am. I am. So you grew up in Illinois? Yeah. Thanks for hooking me up with the family back home. Yeah. Yeah, you, by the way, you have to apologize. We have never had so many curse words on our show than tonight way. Have to bleep a lot of bleeps, don't you? Please. Please don't. You curs Okay. Okay. Good. So you were in the marching band? Is that what I hear? Yes. I was very much so in the marching with instrument. I played clarinet. Okay. Yeah, my dad's high school marching band director So the teacher? Yes, he does it all. He does everything. And what kind of do you remember? The steps you guys used to dio? Yes. We had to do a special role stepping. I can't wait to see. Do you wanna learn? No, But I'll watch. You have to take off so quickly. It's alright. Wow away, right? This is a marching. You need a very important because there's judges on the field that walk around and they have a tape recorder. If one person does it wrong, you're screwed. Okay, so you have to kick out. Then you roll the front foot down is you roll the back foot up. Yeah. So it's like you're not barefoot, so right? No, but you get special marching band shoes. That's great. Yeah, I could watch that all night. Well, no, that was exciting. To, um, thing is fine. Eyes your dad. I mean this t teacher of the year in the entire state. Yeah. I mean, it's crazy. Gets to meet the president all sorts of crazy things. What did he do to win that? He works that So I'm teaching for 25 years. That's kind of curse word That's just that. Eso He's a good guy. He's amazing. My both My mom works with my dad, So both my mom and my dad I admire them so much I can't even imagine you're too cool to be an actress, aren't you? Yeah. You come from a great family. They dio Are they supportive of what you're doing? Yeah. I mean, it freaks them out a little bit. You know that There's times when I get those calls were like, Why don't you just come home and be a teacher and settle down? But I think because they see things were going well and they're really excited for me. Princess wants to be a movie star. Is that that's what it is? Okay, you're in the movie grind. Did you know how to skateboard before the movie? No, I had never been on a skateboard before, but your athletic so you could figure it out? Yeah, they kind of threw a skateboard at me, and they gave me, like, Tony Hawkes, skate tips, video or whatever, and they were like, Well, in two days, you have to be able to skateboard. So I was like in my PJs in the middle of the night in front of the TV. Like I learned how to Ali and yeah, and then And then this is the other exciting thing. Now your next film, when does that come out? Well, that's complicated. It's supposed to come out this Christmas called Surviving Christmas. A good buddy of yours. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, is a buddy way. Had pictures on the wall? Yeah, he's a way. Obviously, he made fun of the Jilly, and we made a little fun of it. But you did you You were his love interest in that movie. Yeah, that must have been exciting. You know, it's a rough life when you got to make out with Ben Affleck. Yeah, and someone told me that you like Ben, But you actually are more of a Matt Damon person, right? Yeah. I've always kind of had a little crush there. Did you tell them that? No, no, no. Why ruin the make out session? Right? You know, you can't You can't throw that in there when you're in that chemistry zone. Yeah. And then did you see J. Lo on the set? Yeah. Yeah, she was there. She was definitely there. How is that? It was cool. I mean, she she hung out a bunch of Chicago. We shot all the exterior stuff in Chicago, which was cool to be home and learning aan den stopped by a bunch of in l. A. And they sit behind the monitor your hair. What's your natural color? I'm actually blonde. Okay, Because I saw I don't know how I saw this thing was in stuff magazine. And this is, uh maybe it's a different Jennifer Morrison, but there's a There you are right there on you. Look a little tough there. That's a clenched fist. Ladies and gentlemen, that's a crushed fist right there. Do you like being a brunette? And why were you brunette for this? Well, actually, I had dyed my hair for surviving Christmas eso. That's why I was brunette when I when I did that. But it's weird because guys air kind of more aggressive, I guess when you're brunette. Really? Yeah. I thought it was when they were blondes. No, I think it's like a more approachable kind of a thing. So I always have these crazy experiences. We were out one night and this guy came up to me. It was like a premiere party. And he's like, Okay, how are you? You know, he's doing things like, Hey, nice to meet you. You know what's going on? He's like, just you know, I'm not in the business. And there's absolutely nothing I could do to help you as an actress on I was like, Cool. Okay. Eso he wanted He wanted to let you know, right? That I'm not a movie producer. An actor. I just think you're cool. I guess he meant well from him, but he kept saying it over and over. And Jenny, can I call you Jenny? Sure. How many times you go out with Onley? Five or six times. Eso the You thought you were more approachable as a brunette? Yeah, Definitely. Because I heard people say that when women, when they dye their hair blonde, they feel a little wilder and they get more attention. Wild brunette e Really? Maybe it's just a changeup. Maybe just a change. Yeah. So what else? How many movies have you done? Million's and million's or what? Like 800,000? Yeah. You work like crazy though, right? I've been very, very lucky lately. I've been I've been on a roll lately, but I don't know how many. You've been in town a long time. I've been here almost three years. You've been doing what? Dawson's Creek. I did Dawson's Creek their fifth season. It's my job to fly Thio North Carolina and make out with Josh every few weeks. Hi. I want you were running out of time because Bob Evans some of his stories went along because, you know, he has to swear he has to swear. And at the end of each story, I didn't get to go to that party. That wasn't me, By the way. That was Eric Stoltz. Yeah, but no. The next time we go to this party will bring you along. Okay?
