Today I want to talk to you about how to be attractive.

And no, we're not talking about the attractiveness between the opposite sex.

I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.

But I'm talking about, as a person in general, how to present yourself in a way that you stand out.

How to present yourself in a way that people simply enjoy having you around and wanna make friends with you.

So this is from my personal experience.

A couple years ago I was at a wedding banquet - It was a friend of mine.

In fact, I knew both the bride and groom

They were good friends.

I was seated at this table with a bunch of college friends.

To be specific, they were my junior classmates.

I remember one of them striking up a conversation with me, and to be honest, we didn't know each other that well back in the days (day).

At least that's what I thought.

In fact, I don't recall me and him talking that much back in school.

But in a friendly tone, he told me something that was really touching.

He said..."Joe, thank you so much for always wearing that sunny smile on your face. It always gave me a warm feeling."

And I was like, "Wow, I'm flattered. Thank you very much for letting me know."

We might not have known each other that well, but after so many years, he remembered that smile.

Hmm.

I was more than happy to hear that.

In fact, I was thankful to him for letting me know.

Cuz like I was totally unaware of how such a subtle thing could bring such good impact to other people.

I'm not bragging, in fact, let's admit, every one of us... like me, I put on my poker faces every now and then.

It's not like I'm smiley faces every day.

But just saying, the slightest, the most subtle act could be making a big difference in other peoples' lives.

We could be making other people's day(s).

You don't have to put on makeup.

You don't have to wear fancy clothes.

You don't have to get in shape.

Well, it would be good to get in shape for health's sake.

Having good looks is always a plus.

Let's be clear about that

But the fact is the majority of us are not Tom Cruise or Scarlett Johansson.

And that's fine.

Cuz there is one thing that is natural in you and me.

No matter what skin color you are.

No matter what language you speak.

No matter what cultural background you come from.

That thing is your smile.

It's a universal language shared among all seven billion people around the world.

It's the best gift you could ever give someone you meet.

Except for a million dollars.

I'm just kidding.

So, if I were to give you one tip on how to be attractive.

That would be, put on your smile.

Cuz it makes you look good.

Remember this and keep it in mind.

"Water runs from high ground to low, and people run to where love overflows."

Be kind, be nice, be loving, and people will run to you.
