Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Lesson 318. All right. The title of today's
lesson is say conscious of , not conscious about. Okay. Let's look at the note here.
if someone is conscious of something somebody is aware of it or and they are
sensitive to something. So that's what we mean if we say somebody's conscious of
something. All right. Again, let's look at the examples here. You know, with the X
this is wrong. So here's the first one. I was conscious about her emotional
feelings. No. You should always say I was conscious of her emotional feelings. So
this is where a student might make a mistake. Or number two here. Or the second
one. I was conscious about his medical
condition. No. You should say I was conscious of his medical condition.
Yeah this is one where you know maybe even a native speaker might sometimes
make this mistake. Let's look at the third one here. Are you conscious about
the difficulty of the issue. No. You should say are you conscious of the
difficulty of the issue ? Okay, good. I hope you got it. I hope it's clear.
Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.
