Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Idioms 261. The idiom today is "on the go." Okay.
Let's take a look at the note. If someone is on the go, he or she is constantly
active or busy. Yeah. They going all the time. All right. So let's take a look at
some examples we have here. That traveling businessman is always on the go.
You might be able to say on the move too. Basically it's you're ... you know, you're
moving you're on the go. So you're always having to go somewhere, do something
keeping busy. No time to rest. That's usually what we mean. So let's
look at number two. Jane is a working mother with three children. She never
seems to have time to rest. She is always on the go. Okay. Great and the third one
we have here. It's busy season at work. I'm on the go all the time. I don't have
time to even take a breather. Yeah. A breather, so we take a breather means it's
just the time to rest. (sigh) You know, just rest for a bit. So you don't even have
time to take a breather. You're on the go. You're moving. You're constantly behind
schedule. Yeah. You're very busy. Okay. Good anyway, I hope you got it. I hope it was clear.
Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.
