00:00:05,100 --> 00:00:10,299 Hi, I am Tatiana from Sony and I'm going to take you through
the steps for setting up your Sony network enabled Bravia LCD TV
with built-in wifi to connect to the internet using a wired connection.
Products can be slightly different, so be sure to check the Owner's Manual or
visit us at esupport.sony.com for your specific features and menu
options.
To get started, you will need to turn the TV on.
Make sure you using the remote that was supplied with your TV to perform this
setup.
Press the Home button on the remote. Using the remote arrow keys, go to Settings.
Select Network setup
and press Enter. Select Network setup
and press Enter. Then, highlight Set up a network connection
and press Enter. To set up the network with a wired connection, select Custom and
press Enter.
A screen will come up that says Network Setup allows you to access content on
your home network and the Internet.
Select Wired Setup and press Enter. On the IP address setting screen, select
Auto to set the address automatically. Otherwise select Manual.
We will select Auto and press Enter. To use a proxy server select Yes
or No and press Enter. Now, to configure the network settings, press the right
arrow to continue. When you see a message to make sure that the LAN cable is
connected,
connect the Ethernet LAN cable to the back of the TV where it is labeled
LAN. Then select Save & Connect and press Enter.
After you receive a message that you have successfully connected to the
Internet, you will need to refresh the Internet content to start browsing the
web. To do this press Enter to Quit Network Setup.
You will be brought back to the network menu. Scroll down until you see Refresh
Internet Content and select Enter. You will see a screen that says
Acquiring Internet content. You now see a message
Internet content is ready. Now we're connected. Let's go to the Internet. Press
the Home button.
Scroll to Applications. Highlight Internet browser
and press Enter. You can now surf the web using your Sony TV.
