Sometimes, we are blessed with people who can change the world for better.

One of them was Lee Jun-fan, one of the most, if not the most, influential martial artists of all time.

He's better known as Bruce Lee.

Many people think of him just as a martial artist who made movies.

And that's true, but he was way more than that.

He was also a filmmaker, a philosopher, a poet and also the founder of Jeet Kune Do.

He believed that any knowledge ultimately led to self-knowledge, which is the ultimate goal.

His chosen method of self-expression was martial arts. What is yours?

Learn about you. Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.

And what if life is difficult? Bruce Lee used to say: Do not pray for an easy life,

pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

And he practiced what he preached, his life wasn't an easy one.

In 1959, at the age of 18, Lee came to the United States with only a $100 in his pocket.

He worked hard and he made it. To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities, he said.

He always believed we were able to do the same.

So go out, and create your own opportunities.

He wasn't afraid to be himself, and he always encourage others to be themselves,

Be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself,

do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it. Be you.

As he once said:

I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations and you're not in this world to live up to mine.

So, live the life you want. Make it a good one.

The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.

The meaning of life is that it is to be lived, and it is not to be traded and conceptualized

and squeezed into a pattern of systems.

Maybe we should all follow his ideology of "the style of no style".

Get rid of the formalised approach.

The idea of his martial art was to exist outside of parameters and limitations.

His Jeet Kune Do emblem displays the message:

"Using no way as way" and "Having no limitations as limitation".

Let's do something about it. Right now.

Because knowing is not enough, we must apply.

Willing is not enough, we must do.

If you spend too much time thinking about a thing,

you'll never get it done.

Bruce Lee was an example of living. Of accomplishment. And that anything is possible.

Just believe in yourself. He showed us the path by example.

Faith makes it possible to achieve that which man's mind can conceive and believe.
