  • So I hope you have in a really chill Friday.

  • I'm just really tired this week.

  • And so what better thing to tape, then?

  • How to feel more motivated and confident through a few of these beauty and style tips?

  • Of course, there's plenty of other ways to be confident, really good book that I've read called The confidence Gap, which I can link down below.

  • But for the sake of this channel, let's talk beauty and style.

  • I have, like, 10 ish tips, so I'll run through them pretty quickly.

  • The first is toe have some sort of, like good luck, pair of shoes or a top or cardigan.

  • It could be anything a bracelet, anything where you just have a little bit more confidence because you're wearing that one thing.

  • You know, like little kids do this a lot where they have, like one of their favorite things.

  • It's almost like a security blanket, but it sounds a little weird when you're an adult and you do that, but it totally conferring you Confidence.

  • If you're wearing that like one pair of shoes where you've gotten a really good interview before anything like that, it will just make your day.

  • Feel so much more like you have good luck.

  • It's kind of like that thing in Harry Potter.

  • I forget what it's called.

  • But it was like a potion where he was able to have, like, good luck, see Rome or something.

  • I don't remember.

  • It's on the tip of my tongue, right into the comments below, If you remember what that thing in Harry Potter Waas.

  • My next tip is to make sure that you get all of your clothes tailored.

  • So tailoring used to be really popular years and years ago when clothes were kind of just made for a few different sizes.

  • Not all of the size is that we have now, so tailoring is a little bit less popular than it used to be, and it can be really, like bizarre to try to get back into it.

  • You know, to figure out a good tailor and like different things to ask for which I can totally answer your questions if you have those.

  • But just getting your clothes tailored is still so important to making sure that your clothes fit exactly how they're supposed Thio.

  • You know how there's like when a guy like, where's a really perfectly tailored dress shirt or like suit.

  • It just makes him stand out compared to like someone who just went to J.

  • C.

  • Penney got their shirt and his rocking, it s Oh, just getting those little alterations made will make your outfit looks so much more put together.

  • Next is to make sure that your clothes look really good in the sunlight.

  • That means ironing and lint rolling are a must, especially in this family, because of fits.

  • He just, you know, you think you've got, like, no pet here on you and you go out in the sun.

  • You're like, Well, this is just great eso tohave an extra boost of confidence.

  • I always like to carry around a lit roller with me in my purse And then I try to be ableto iron things at least the night before, if not like lining up my outfits for the week, getting them iron, getting them ready to go.

  • So that's kind of another tip.

  • It's kind of like a two for one.

  • Next is to keep your nails nice.

  • It made such a difference when I was just like, adamant, like I am going to always do my nails and make sure that they're not, like, chipped out of control.

  • When I used to, like, not take care of them, I would look down and I would realize, like halfway through my day, that my nails are a complete mess and I would have for gotten to get them, like, fixed up the night before.

  • So that's something that I really take seriously now, and one way to just kind of make sure that they look good through the day is to keep a nail file with me and also my bottle of nail polish.

  • I'll just bring the those two things along with me, if not like one of those little portable nail polish remover wipes.

  • But just always make sure my nails are tidy is such a big difference.

  • You know, when your nails are chipped and you're you're going in for that handshake and you're like, Oh, like trying to hide the nails from looking really bad.

  • Um, so that's kind of one way to boost confidence is just to make sure that even your nails are taking care of the next way to boost any sort of style is through accessories.

  • There's nothing that a good pair of rings will fix or like.

  • Necklaces like you can have such a basic outfit, and it can make it look so amazing.

  • If you just have a few accessories on and it could be ones that you wear every single day.

  • It doesn't have to be like a bunch of different ones, and that's actually a really affordable way.

  • By and large, to update your closet is to, you know, stick to basics and just like invest in a few accessories.

  • Next is did not forget about undergarments.

  • So you know, like when abroad just does not fit quite right.

  • And you're like trying to pull the bra straps up halfway through your day like when you're talking to somebody and you're like, Hold on a second e no, like so make sure that your bras fit good, especially like in the back where that it might like hug you a little bit wrong.

  • Or you just like, washed them really thoroughly in the washer.

  • And now it's like completely stretched out like a slingshot or something.

  • Make sure none of that is happening, like make sure your broth it's good make sure that you just feel confident in not only what's on the outside but also inside that will just elevate your confidence and your overall style.

  • So perfume is another way that I really feel like it brings a lot of confidence, because if you're going in to hug somebody, it just helps if you feel like you smell good.

  • And that's also something that's like, my good luck charm is I have certain perfumes that I wear.

  • So that's even more of the Harry Potter pushes that I have, like this liquid.

  • Good luck where I'm able to just like I know that I smell good.

  • I have my fragrance.

  • That just brings me, like, good luck throughout my day.

  • So, um, I can link a few that I use down below, but I'm really in love with, like, two or three different perfumes that I wear for different occasions.

  • It's kind of like aromatherapy.

  • There's one that I wear to know.

  • Okay, right now, I should be working or like another for date nights.

  • So this one's for free posture.

  • So that's something that, like, if you notice, if you just do a little bit of people watching their posture just speaks volumes.

  • Body language speaks so much more than even words.

  • D'oh.

  • So make sure that you're really focusing on that.

  • A few good back stretches would also be really good.

  • To be able to suggest, naturally, stand up a little straighter, working on back muscles like back exercises.

  • Anything like that just helps you with your posture.

  • And it's funny because a lot of people think if you are feeling bad, then your posture changes, but also your posture if you just elevate your posture than you'll feel better, too.

  • It's so weird how there's, like a connection there Nice is to think about bad breath.

  • So everyone's greatest thing to think about.

  • But, um, well, I just make sure that you have, like, some mints or gum.

  • So if you're ever like Oh my gosh, I just had an onion sandwich.

  • You're like, Okay, problem solved.

  • Got gum?

  • Perfume.

  • We're good.

  • I hate onions by the way.

  • Anyways, that is just one more way that you can feel more confident, especially if you're going to be close to people.

  • Make sure that you have good breath all the time, so my next beauty tip.

  • If you want to call it?

  • That is really something that would just bring you, Ah, whole lot of self love, which is just taking care of your body, making sure that you're eating right and exercising.

  • Making time for that.

  • One person I like to listen to sometimes is Michael Hyatt, who talks about how, if he doesn't have time in his day to it, work out.

  • He's too busy and that I was always, like, really compelling to me because there's so many times that I could make excuses to not work out.

  • But I just love that he has that mentality.

  • Also just eating right like I am not one who will shy away from some cookies.

  • I really love cookies, but you know, there's times where I'm like.

  • You know what?

  • Having some herbal tea right now will not only make me like, not have a bad thing, but, like focus on bringing more good things into my body.

  • So, yeah, that's really what has helped me a lot is like not feeling like I'm depriving myself, but just trying to reach for better options all the time and those air my beauty and style tips and I hope you guys have a really awesome weekend.
