  • Why?

  • You want to become a midwife?

  • So pretty much the first interview question for your midwife roll.

  • Now, this is really important tip.

  • What I want you to do is to make sure you come across very confident during this first answer.

  • Because this will set the tone for the remainder of your interviews.

  • You get a brilliant answer out of the blocks, and this sounds that you give is gonna be great.

  • Because a lot of people say to me, I'm really good at my role as a midwife, but I'm not very good at passing interviews.

  • Will use this answer he would get.

  • I'm someone who takes my work seriously.

  • And I understand there is no room for error in respect of being a midwife in both the undertaking of your professional duties.

  • And also in respect of the advice you are for women and families during their time under your care.

  • Now I am an exceptionally hard worker.

  • I know how to communicate effectively to achieve the desired outcome, and I will always uphold the values of your organization.

  • Now I want to be a midwife, not just because of the challenges that role presents, but also in respect of the fact I will get to have such a positive impact on people's lives through the work I carry out.

  • Now, not only am I extremely caring and compassionate, but I am also someone who is resilient, confident in my abilities.

  • And I will always perform these to the highest standards necessary in my role as a midwife.

  • It put you across in a professional manner, confident You know what you're talking about and that gets you going for the rest off the interview.

  • Now you can even take notes of all this.

  • Write it all down if you want to, or if you stick around, I'll take a week and download a copy of this on In total 23 midwife Interview Questions on high scoring answers is re progress.

  • Okay, next question of your midwife interview.

  • What you understand about the main duties and responsibilities off a midwife.

  • So the reason why they will ask you these questions, they want to know that you've looked at the job description.

  • Have you looked at the job description?

  • You need to read it now.

  • I've studied a lot off midwife job descriptions, and here is my suggested answer.

  • The main role of a midwife is to prepare women for the delivery off new life and to also provide support and guidance during all stages of the pregnancy throughout the process of labor itself and also during the early days off the post natal process.

  • Now the duties of responsibilities I would have as a midwife would be to examine a monitor women during pregnancy, conduct screening tests, provide information on emotional support, undertake antenatal care conduct assessments, maintain accurate records and also provide levels of support based on each individual circumstances.

  • Now, I would also be required to identify high risk pregnancies on also demonstrate exceptional communication on interpersonal skills during emotionally charged and challenging situations.

  • It is a role I believe I will excel in, and I fully understand the high levels of responsibility that come with the positions that shows that you've read the job description, you know the duties that you'll be required to carry out as a midwife, and also, more importantly, you're confident that you can do them.

  • Next question of your midwife interview What do you remain?

  • Strengths, and how will these help you to perform in the role of a midwife?

  • So obviously, as a midwife, you need to be confident.

  • You need to be resilient to need a need to be able to follow rules and procedures.

  • You need to carry out risk assessments.

  • So the point is, you don't want to say that you have a weakness if it's in line with the job description.

  • So your your strengths should be basically what the job description elements are.

  • And this is what I have done in respect of this on.

  • So here we go.

  • The main strengths I possess our inability to remain calm under difficult and pressurized situations now is a midwife.

  • This is a core skill, and without it you won't be able to carry out your duties professionally.

  • Other key strengths include an ability to provide the correct level of advice and information based on the needs of the mother under partner all family, an ability to follow strict rules and procedures and also a natural desire to want to provide the best possible care regardless of the situation.

  • I am also someone who is non judgmental and inclusive.

  • Everybody who comes into my care will receive the same levels of attention and treatment and also the highest levels of professional care at all times, so that demonstrate your core strengths.

  • And you are also demonstrating how you were lined them to the roll off a midwife.

  • Now I've got two more questions to run free.

  • Please do stick around because they are important ones.

  • But if you want to download the full set of 23 midwife interview questions and answers, there's a link disappeared in the top right hand corner Off this video.

  • If you click, that will take you through and then you can download those answers.

  • Let's move on to the next question.

  • If your midwife interview, how would you deal with a difficult part if someone getting book?

  • So how would you deal with a difficult partner of someone giving birth?

  • He would get The most important thing come is to establish control from the outset make everyone aware of what is going to happen during the bourbon, also what is expected of them.

  • It's also very important, in my opinion, to integrate both parents during the anti native state during the pregnancy itself and also during post natal support and advice of the partner of the mother is included and fully involved throughout the process, they are far more likely to understand how they can contribute positively for May.

  • As a professional midwife, it's all about communication information and inclusiveness.

  • If you communicate correctly, give the right information on include both parents, the potential for problems will be significantly minimized.

  • So it's another on.

  • So you know exactly what you're gonna be doing in that kind off situation.

  • Let's take a look at that.

  • Explain which aspects of being a midwife you would find the most challenging and also the most rewarding.

  • So this is a tough question on the service.

  • It appears to be quite easy, but you don't want to say something that would put you across in a negative life.

  • You should say Oh, you know, dealing with people who get emotionally charged would be something that I wouldn't really enjoy doing where you're gonna have to do that on a daily basis is the midwife.

  • So we need to make sure we give a careful answers to these questions.

  • So here we go.

  • The most rewarding aspects will be building up positive and professional relationships with both parents during the anti NATO period, which would then enable me to provide the best levels of care, support and guidance during birth.

  • Now, obviously, the birth itself would, in most cases, be the most rewarding.

  • Although there will naturally be many challenges during this stage two, I also feel working with other medical professionals and support workers who formed part of the midwifery team would be an extremely rewarding aspect of the role.

  • Now the challenging aspect would probably be parents who perhaps don't take their responsibilities seriously enough.

  • However, I would see this is part of my role is the midwife to educate them and make them more aware of how their actions will impact on their newborn and its future whilst being part off their families as a good, solid, strong answer.

  • Now, like a set, you want to download the full set, you can even click the link below the video is one in the top, right hand corner off top, right hand corner up off that video.
