I felt like a sense of accomplishment, as I'm sure a lot of creators that heard this news that have been begging for two K to get back in the game for years to give e a that kick in the ass that they need to produce a better video game because the reality is right. 00:00:55.080 --> 00:01:9.750 Now, people that understand football, people that care about football and want that experience in a video game aren't getting it in madam and that that's a good transition to the news that this two K game is not gonna be a simulation game, at least not right away.

Well, I got news for you.

Neither is Madden Madden continues to pump ultimate team down our throats superstar K o whatever that is.

I haven't even played it yet.

I don't care.

I want a simulation based football game.

Now here's the thing.

That's not what this two K game is gonna be right away.

And my expectations are that we're still at least three and 1/2 years away from any sort of football game that we as really football fans, can be happy with.

And to be completely honest, that's similar to the timeline I had before this news.

You know, Madden is much crap is we've given them, at least in the last two years.

They've added features to franchise mode that they've given the game mod updates after the games come out. 00:01:57.060 --> 00:02:5.150 They are working on the game mode now for the first time in about seven years, which, as as we've said, it is a step in the right direction. 00:02:5.790 --> 00:02:12.550 But we all know they still need a kick in the ass because they just can't get things done at the rate that they should be able to.

And this competition should inspire some of that because two K is now coming, but I will be completely honest.

This two K game is not gonna be good when it comes out.

It is not, and the people a ta probably aren't scared of this news at the moment.

But that's on us, guys.

That's on us as football consumers to put our money where our mouth is.

If we want another game to be simulation based and challenge e A and give us a franchise mode that we could enjoy that lets us experience the NFL the way that we see it on Sundays to team build with the appropriate challenges with accurate contracts. 00:02:57.970 --> 00:03:4.230 And, you know, ah, compensatory picks and realistic trade options. 00:03:4.480 --> 00:03:12.990 Everything that n f air, the N b A to K has that they've shown the capability and the understanding that that's something that a lot of sports fans want.

If we want that, we need to buy this game at least once.

I'm probably gonna make a video on it and never played again because it's going to be an arcade style video game to start now.

Understand this, guys two K cannot just come in and pick up what they had on the PS two and just start making a game again.

Based on that, they might be able to transfer some of that stuff over that will help them get off the ground running.

Now you need to view this two K games, similar to how we've looked at Doug Flutie's football game and some of these other you know, the maximum football game and some of these other indie developers that have come in and try to challenge the idea of making an actual game that cares about football, not fantasy football and just selling games.

You need a view to K that way, and I'm not even gonna even defend to Kay and say that they're any different than e a a SZ faras that corporate mentality.

But what you need to invest in is that competition and right away.

So you need to know what your expectations are.

If your expectations are, this game's gonna come out and challenge mad and right away.

That is not the reality.

It really isn't but 345 years down the road.

I know it sounds like a long time time away, but there's there's hope.
