  • Rebecca, thank you so much for being here with us.

  • Yeah.

  • Thank you.

  • Happy to do it.

  • I just understand that a nurse just left your room.

  • How are you feeling?

  • What is that Check in process like?

  • Yeah.

  • So I'm feeling good.

  • Still the trick in process, Basically, they come by every few hours, and, uh, take my temperature, blood, blood, blood pressure, um, pulse check my lungs, that kind of thing.

  • So, yeah, I want him in everyone.

  • What kind of symptoms have you been experiencing and treatments?

  • Eso symptoms.

  • All I really had was a slight cough when I first got here.

  • Um, and I did have a slight temperature at that point.

  • Both of those have normalized.

  • I don't have a temperature anymore.

  • And my cough is pretty much gone.

  • Um, and treatment.

  • There is no treatment.

  • All I'm doing is sitting here in isolation.

  • There's the fluid.

  • There's no, um, cold medicines.

  • And not that I would really need those cause.

  • Honestly, don't even have enough from anything Andi.

  • So I don't know that you're not taking any kind of medication.

  • At some point, the virus just you just get over it.

  • And it's just kind of like a cold or flu in that sense in that.

  • Sermons From what I understand, guests.

  • Yeah.

  • There are no treatments here.

  • Okay.

  • You seem to be very calm through all of this.

  • Is there any reason than that they're people overreacting?

  • Do you think?

  • I mean, you know, there's, of course, a risk for those populations who would be at risk for any virus.

  • You know, elderly Children.

  • Um, you know, those haven't been vaccinated and such consuming.

  • I got my flu shot before.

  • Um, I came here.

  • I've had pneumonia, vaccine and all that, so I feel pretty prepared for it, but, uh, yeah, I think there is a level but of, um, some, um, hysteria might be harsh word, but people are probably a little more worried than they really need to be.

  • If you are, you know, healthy adult individual.

  • There's no reason to think that you should experience any, you know, symptoms beyond just you know what might be a mild cold or flu.

  • Okay.

  • Have you been given any idea when you're gonna be able to get back home to Oregon?

  • That information keeps changing.

  • So especially to be able to get back home that much, we don't know to be able to leave the hospital.

  • It might be at any point next week, maybe like the 18 through the 21st.

  • But that's essentially as much information as I know at this point.

  • Well, we certainly hope that you're gonna be able to get back home sleep in your own bed again very soon.
