  • His supporters are pumped.

  • He took a stage and he said, We're going on a South Carolina and we are going to take this back as and we're going to take this race back now, Even though it appears from the numbers coming in so far that Bernie Sanders is leading, we're hearing from the Biden campaign that they second place as a win.

  • They feel like Nevada looks like the rest of the country, and they feel like this bodes very well for them going forward now.

  • We'll look at the numbers.

  • C.

  • Rick what you've seen from the numbers.

  • Yeah, Zarina second place finisher Biden would make the race a heck of a lot more interesting from here, but this does appear to be a night that belongs to Bernie Sanders again, Not enough information for ABC News to make a projection, But as you see the numbers role in that first, the first number on your screen, that's how Bernie Sanders and the other candidates did with the people that walked in the door that stole the first alignment.

  • That second number is what happened after people that didn't get 15% of the vote realign and then in the clock, a system they join up on.

  • You see Bernie Sanders number getting a little bit bigger, as is Joe Biden's in that second number, now the third number.

  • It's a little confusing, but it's drawn from a different data source entirely.

  • That's directly from the state party, and that's the number of county convention delegates that are rewarded.

  • That's the number that you have to keep an eye on.

  • And that's the number that Bernie Sanders is hoping to ride to victory in the delegate race.

  • And if he walks away with more delegates through this through Nevada, he is likely to taken overall delegate lead.

  • Right now, people to judge has a narrow lead.

  • But if Bernie Sanders takes it over, he is well positioned in the Super Tuesday states and beyond.

  • And that's where Biden comes in.

  • The Biden campaign obviously gonna put up a spirited fight.

  • They're gonna point to their strength, particularly among African American voters, which was very real, according to our entrance polls.

  • But Bernie Sanders will, if he wins in Nevada, will be able to say that he won the popular vote in the 1st 3 states voting.

  • This staffer wrote on Twitter that they're building a movement to change history.

  • I was struck by one number in the early entrance polls that ABC had that showed that Bernie 1 49% of people that identified as very liberal Zoran way.
